It doesn't have to be an iPod. It can be even just a hard drive. I only picked iPod because they seemed to be the cheapest. I just want some way to STORE at least 43.5GB.

Well if that's the case, then an iPod is actually the most expensive route possible. A ($350) 60 GB iPod is roughly $5.83 per gigabyte, while something like this is only $1.67 per gigabyte, and better still, this is only $1.16 per gigabyte.

Which is worse, a legal FF7 with the animevamp patch or the "Ultima Edition"? With this question, I don't mean which is less moral or anything, just which runs worse on a computer. Mostly I'm asking this because I'm curious, but I don't want to ruin midi playback on my computer or waste 1.4GB of bandwidth when I already have a legal version that works just fine.

I just discovered today that I had the animevamp patch installed all along to fix the chocobo problem  ! Ironically, FFVII never ran smoother and I completed the game with no freezes or glitches. I have a modern laptop run by an AMD 64 processor.  Wierd.

Huh, that's not really an SNES, it's a computer with an SNES emulator called ZSNES, with controller ports installed. Might be easier just to get this. Still pretty cool though.

Final Fantasy VI, I'm sure you mean.

The U.S. didn't see Final Fantasies II or III, and for some reason thereafter, the U.S. dubbed Final Fantasy IV as Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy VI as Final Fantasy III.

You are thinking of the Japanese NES Final Fantasy's 2 & 3.
As chaoscontrol said, FFIII was the North American release of FFVI as it was the 3rd Final Fantasy released for the US as opposed to the 6th Final Fantasy for Japan. Same game, different name. (Hey, I'm a poet and I didn't even know realize it.)

I don't have a Super Famicom; Tales of Phantasia was only released in Japan. Actually, my SNES can play famicom games, but I'm not a ninja, and cannot read japanese.

Well, there are the Megaman X games, but they may/may not be a genre you would be interested in.

Based on the fact that you own Tetris/Dr. Mario, I can assume that you like puzzle games. Therefore, you should get Tetris Attack.

Anybody else have this system? Personally, I think it is the best Nintendo system ever.

I'm currently trying to deck out my SNES by unsoldering the standard red power LED and replacing it with a neon blue one. I'm also painting flames on the sides and adding a 50Hz/60Hz switch and a few other things. It proved very troblesome opening up the actual console, as it is screwed shut very tightly with 4.5 mm flower shaped screws. I had to buy a special tool just to open it. I'll post pictures when it is done. Anyways, I'm trying to complete my SNES squaresoft collection, as well as other "must-haves".

So far, I have:

Secret of Mana
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

If you don't remember, Qhimm said that he knows who did it, but is waiting for the person to step up voluntarily, so it's not like he had any choice

What I remember, was that you got blamed for the admin thing, because you were acting like a pill about something Qhimm did (backstabbing I believe). I felt bad that you were being falsely accused, so I spoke up.

So, I would appreciate it if you would stop talking about how dishonest and cowardly I am. Thanks. If you still have any isssues with me, speak up now or forever hold your peace.

Isn't that what Jari wants? I mean, all he ever talks about is how much he likes halkun and Qhimm and how much time and hassle he is saving them by mini-modding the "filthy" forum members. In fact, Sad Jari is a spell-checker, Identity policeman, Database of any and all things members have done in the past that he has dissaproved of, and, an easily-offended contentionist all in one.

So, as NobodyImportant and rmco2003 suggested, why doesn't he simply take to PMs if he has a problem? Because it's no fun if you just stick to PMs. He didn't use PMs with me, so why should he use them for anybody else? He claims that "It happened public so I'll talk public." What I did to Jari concerning his secret message didn't happen public, yet he still brought it public. I'll tell you precisely why he brings everything "public". He wants the entire forum to be able to read along as he incessantly bashes, attacks, and criticizes his target. He has the upper hand with his superior vocabulary and lawyer-esque offense tactics. Why not have a little fun and publically humilate someone? Afterall, politely telling someone you dissaprove of their behavior is no fun at all. Indeed, if he did that, why, the problem may be solved with no dispute at all!

Oh well, stick to your little game, I'm sure you'll soon have a reply quoting half of my post, but no matter, all in the spirit of FF7 I say.

Well I found a picture of a gear from a "free images" site, so their shouldn't be any copyright infringement.    I messed around with it a bit, and with suggestions from halkun and Sad Jari, I put this together.

Very good, although something about the gear... looks kind of feminine? Maybe its just me but the gear kind of looks like a flower. Other than that, very clean look - I like!

Edit: Ehh, the comet angle isn't quite right... I'll tinker around with it a little tommorow... It should look a little like the ff7 logo, just with gears instead of the comet, and Q-Gears instead of "Final Fantasy VII", and inverted colors so it is easier on the eyes.

I like the logo by RPGillespie, it makes a nice suttle hint.  I think if you use those gears, with the alpha transperancy, and using the Runic MT Condensed font, then you got yourself one sweet looking splash screen/logo.

Yeah well I suck at all the fancy stuff (all I can do is MS paint), I'll leave that up to you guys, here is the original gear I used (I inverted the color and shrunk the image for the tail of the comet)...

Here you go, believe it or not, I drew this 100% free hand in microsoft paint, and It took short of 3 minutes. I'm open to any other art projects as well -- its one of my most commended hobbies  .
