Cant believe someone went to the trouble of creating all those FF and DOA related models to make this a great fight movie.

You have to see the first one as well.  I'm pretty sure those are ripped models, he hangs around the darkmatter forums.  The animations and cinematography are amazing.

Yea majority of the models are hacked out of respective games (not sure about FF7:AD Tifa though), but there is still alot of work needed to pull it off.
Only gripes I have is that the hand to hand fighting (or rather kicking) is abit slow and uninventive, and maybe the female voices/sounds are rather similar.
The first Dead Fantasy is now available in HD and downloadable, and seems slightly better due to the more dynamic close camera angles and the closed surrounding feel - you appreciate the detail more because you get more close ups!
But looking forward to the sequals (check his main page on www.gametrailers.com) for info to go with the vids.

Wow that was not realistic at all. Somehow there was a magical sideways gravity that kept them glued to the vertical wall of the tower as they were falling and fighting for 3+ minutes.   Other than that small defiance of physics, it was pretty cool.

i think not. faces are modelled a bit different. besides i don't know where would he get tifa's model (the one from kh2 was a bit different).

No if im not wrong he managed to create Tifa taking another facial model. I think i saw that face, maybe in mortal kombat maybe not, anyway i dont think that face if Tifa's one

Lets not forget the nice Rinoa appearing at the end in almost perfect quality (vs the FMVs in FF8)

Yeah Rinoa is done well and he is the mascotte in this video for FFVIII wearing his razorblade and the gunblade of Squall

I haven't played FFVIII in a while, but I do know that on the back of her shirt she has to little drawings of white wings in one of the FMVs.

After she comes back to your team after the ragnarok thing she gets a new limit break where she grows wings and rises into the air and floats back down after the wings vanish.
Now she can do lots of magic with poweful effects.
Thats how I remember it..
