7th Heaven 2.0 Boot Error

Hello,

I've tried starting up the 7th Heaven 2.0 software & as soon as I boot it I get an error stating:
Spoiler: show

The device is not ready.

After showing that message 7th Heaven closes down and I can't do anything. Do I have to put the install & game in a specific location?

I'm not really PC savvy so baffled as you can imagine. But would appreciate advice of course :)

Still no progress :(

I've tried re-installing 7th Heaven & FF7 Steam on internal and external HDD but no joy...

I'm not an expert either, but it sounds like an issue with drivers or other software. I'd probably start with making sure you have all the Visual C++ Redistributables installed. You can get them from the Microsoft website here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

Also, make sure your Windows is up to date: It usually downloads stuff like this automatically.

If that doesn't work, then I'm out of ideas. Sorry!

Sorry for the late response, but 7H is having trouble creating a folder/directory that it needs. So, either a path is wrong somewhere in your paths (Settings>General Settings), or you have restrictions or permissions problems getting in the way of 7H being able to create the necessary folders. Or something is wrong with your file system/hard disk and you should check it for errors with chkdsk.
