the MO.exe found in the torrent is outdated, the newer version is found in the mo.exe thread on qhimm

The FMVRes files are safely in tact within the torrent. The corruption must somehow be on your end. Perhaps do a recheck on your torrent to see if it picks up any missing packets.

The MO.exe within the torrent is version M05c, which is the latest release. No further versions are being released until DLPB completes The Reunion mod pack.

okay, i got mo.exe to work and Gjoerulv's Hardcore Mod to work. re-torrenting all the fmvres packs now. i hope this works...

Is there a way to fix this sound effect issue? I hear music, but no sound effects are present.

I don't know if that's the issue but it would require you to follow Alyza's steps for reinstalling Bootleg.

Hi there guys, me (the n00b) again.
I've been playing the game just fine and I love all the mods I've installed, but I've been running into a bit of a small but annoying issue: the music is too loud compared to sound effects.
You see, this is not so bad (yet still perceptible) when playing with the speakers, but on headphones the mixing between the music (using the remastered version) and the sound effects is just plain uneven. I could barely hear anything that happened besides the battle BGM on the Jenova BIRTH battle.
That's not a dealbreaker issue, but it is pretty annoying and pulls me out of the experience.
Is there any way I can adjust the sound levels?

Are you using FF7Music?. If so, start FF7Music, go to configure, then change it from your output plugin.

Have you set the right sound card in the FF7 config? FF7 Music changes automatically if you use a HDMI output, but FF7 needs to be changed separately.

Hello all!  I jumped on this boat PRETTY late in the game. :) I'm excited to play my favorite Final Fantasy in such a beautiful fashion after being away from it for so long, and the tutorial is quite comprehensive.  I had a pretty easy time figuring everything out.  I HAVE been looking around for a bug that I'm experiencing and haven't been able to find an answer, however.  Let me try to be as specific as possible.  I'm using the AC Yuffie mod made by Grimmy and I am outside of Junon after having traversed the Mythril Caves.  No problems thus far in the game.  I experience a strange crash when I battle her.  It seems typical that the game crashes following the battle, but the problem I experience is slightly different.  Upon encountering her, her shuriken shakes fairly violently, and after I hit her ONCE the camera stays on her in-battle and I can't progress.  My characters are still animated, the music still plays, but I can't continue the battle.

I have run it in compatibility mode and as an administrator, and I'm not sure where to go from here.  One thread noted that I needed to run it in software rendering mode--not sure what this means.  Any ideas, everyone? I don't want to NOT get Yuffie, and it's too early to abandon the game. :D

You mean in the "buffer length" bar?

EDIT: Oh, forget it, there's the volume bar right there.

Walter255,
Grimmy's AC Yuffie is broken. Don't use her!

Rukenu,
Applying the Spanish translation to the Aeris Revival mod will only translate parts of the modified scenes. Aeris' dialogue will  still be in English.

Was this after a Bootleg install? Did you follow the tutorial? Please post the size of your FF7 game folder before and after a Bootleg install (in any case, I suggest re-installing the game + Bootleg following the tutorial).

Erm,

Has anyone found issues with Chocobo Breeding? Looks like the appropriate menu options from Billy at the Chocobo Farm don't relate to what the text says. For example I kept clicking "Mate a Chocobo" and nothing happened, then tried to feed one which took me to the mating options. Eventually got a Green chocobo (again the options when selecting which nut to feed them were all jumbled up, selecting yes resulted in picking the nuts again, clicking another exited the menu and clicking leave until later resulted in a yes) but clicking the "Ride a Chocobo" option gives me the same result as the "Mate a Choco" option, nothing happens.

Really messed up

This looks like a Menu Overhaul issue to me. Font spacing error somewhere.

Hi

I've got the Steam version, and followed the instructions to download EQ2Alyza's mod list using the torrent and so forth. This all seemed to work, but when I try to run the game, it doesn't register any inputs. It loads up: an empty command prompt, what looks like a starting screen for FF7 music, and the game itself (here's a screenshot: http://imgur.com/1cny7vp).

Thanks in advance for any help.
