Final Fantasy 8 > FF8 Tools

Switch file type not recognized

Silvercloak:
Whenever I open a switch save - it says file type not recognized.  It will eventually load the file and allow me to edit it, but when I try to bring it back into the switch using JKSV it doesn't read the save file and begins the game as though I have no saves.  Has anyone found a way around this?
