General Discussion / FF7 Remake info
« on: 2002-04-09 00:48:00 »
How I envy you people that know how to make 3D animation.  Having the ability to do that is far much better that being able to write good stories, or play music.  That is why I'm starting to try to learn how to a little bit of 3D animation.  What's a good program to start with, and where should I go for tutorials?

Yay, then this means that we could have a couple of FMVs in the remake.  Zephrious, can you show us some of your work?

General Discussion / FFT for GBA
« on: 2002-03-28 07:01:00 »
I read something about the FInal Fantasy N.  It was in an italian website.  Anyways, the GBA and Game Cube version of the game is going to be the same.  Same story, same everything, but only the gamecube will be able to play FMVs and have a good sound.  You can use the same save file for the GBA and Game Cube.  If you missed an FMV in the GBA, there will be an option to be able to replay those FMVs in the Game Cube.  You will be able to hook up the GBA to the Game Cube.  That's all I know.

P.S.:  I read something about the PlayStation 3 too.

General Discussion / FF related question
« on: 2002-03-22 19:49:00 »
Actually the prelude was the last melody that Uematsu made for FF1.  Sakaguchi wanted him to do one more melody to fit in the beginning of the game.  So he had to come up with it fast, because Sakaguchi wanted it right away.  It took him 10 minutes, and that melody is the theme song for Final Fantasy now.

Edit:  As for Joey's question, I think the world theme in FF1 was his first work.  I read that he likes to do the main theme first because that's the hardest.

General Discussion / Terra's Theme. The best remix ever!
« on: 2002-03-13 05:37:00 »
Hey, thanks for the link, javienn.  I'm getting hooked on arranged game music.

The song I was looking the other time, the main theme of FF2, I finally found it orchestrated.  It was actually Scene I from the Final Fantasy Symphonic Suite.  Very nice song.

BTW:  Seph3D, did you ever got to download the whole song I sent you to streamload?

SaiNt, Chibimaruko, Joey, sengzai, and yuna are from Malaysia.

The rest are from the U.S. and from England, and from Sweden of course.

Aside from that, FFXI is said that it could also be for the GameCube (since square and nintendo reconcilitated).

General Discussion / ff-series Debug on the PC
« on: 2002-03-11 03:35:00 »
If you want to access the debug room in FFVII, get Jenova (one of qhimm's programs).  Modify a save file by changing the location to the debug room.  Shouldn't be hard at all.

But it's definately more useful than the usual crap that you post, Intel-Xeon.  I don't think you have the priviledge to critizice this forum.

The feedback forum was made for topics about qhimm's programs, it's obvious that qhimm hasn't released another program and that this forum is going to be quiet for a while.  Use common sense.

This should almost be a given.

Hints:  Made by Konami.
Second game of the series, the third of the series just came out.  One of the best arcade games.
This second game follows the story of the first game.
The name of the characters are Falcon and Jackal.
You use a rifle, that is bolted to the machine.

Yeah, I have WinMX.  I'm logged right now.  Not for too long though, try tomorrow like at 2 pm.  I'm telling you, get an account at streamload.com.  It's free, and fast, faster than WinMX.  The download limit is 50 megs though, but the file is only 12.

actually, that tab is pretty messed up, but it does have some things that other tabs don't.  I'm going to used notes of every tab, and play the ones that sound good and that sound more original to the song.

Well, I can't go to sleep, so I might as well just give my question.  I know I got it right to mirex question.   5 years of being a mortal kombat fan can't be wrong.

Anyways, here is the question.

Name the complete title of the game.  This game is a gun shooter at arcades, you can duel against someone else, you need to have good accuracy, and you can either choose "target range", "story", or "duel" in air, city, or forest.

Major hints:  You can kill almost every boss with one shot in the head, and it is one of my favorite games of all time (I may have mentioned this game before somewhere in this forum).

I'm not revealing what kind of shooter it is because it would be a given.

Hey Seph, did you find the song.  You can find it very quick in morpheus.  I found out who played the song, it was CSU Berkley.  Apparantelly they play a lot of FF songs.  Anyways, I found some more tabs for the Nightmare's beginning song.  It gave me more inspiration.  To be honest I had kinda lost hope in able to do the song, because it didn't sound too good in the guitar.  But now that I replaced those parts that didn't sound good with other better sounding parts, it's getting more simpler to complete it.

I didn't want to say anything about it because I wasn't able to complete it, and I didn't have time to complete it.  Now that the semester is over, I'm going to resume my work.  I never thought it would be this difficult, and that I would have so many obstacles.  Anyways, I will post updates once in a while.

I found this song called "The best of Final Fantasy VII".  It's a song that has the most popular theme songs together in an orchestrated version.  I think it was done by some high school orchestra or something, because it wasn't so professionally played.  And NO it is not a bootleg of the Final Fantasy Concert that just happened.  The song is pretty cool though.  You can get it at morpheus or I could post it somewhere in the Internet.  Sephiroth3D, I think you would be interested.
