I like the boldness of this idea, particularly taunting S-E with it.

Theres no reason to use ripped material. You'd get better results with original assets, and with a modern engine you'd have all the support for new tech, animation engines, normal maps galore, among other things.

This is a sizable but doable project. A few comp sci students with a wad of time could cobble together a basic control scheme and gameplay methinks. This being with some existing engines such as Unity3D or Unreal.

Then don't make it litterally dirt. Stains, spills, rips will do the job.

I'd use 4, and pop out the patches a bit from the blanket, just extrude that area to get a little extra relief.

Nicely done. 5x renders has mostly to do with keeping an even pixel (.5 scaling artifacts are nasty), and as was stated above, scrolling scenes have use playing fairly zoomed in. Congratulations on the good work, I look forward to seeing more of your art.

The lighting in the '5th' or last one you posted is best. I'd make the blanket dirtier sa per the original. Post progress on that, and once thats cleared, this scene will be considered done and approved.

Best to move on to other work than to fiddle with this forever. Good work.

the light above the bottom entrance is too bright, causing a high level of plastic-y spec reflection on the ground. Other than that very nice, try to make the colors pop out a bit more, and vary up the posters on the wall.

Cheers, and good luck to ye! I used all the details I scrounged up when making a cosplay of that particular version.

As to the pale face yes - crisis core textures are a bit flat, which they attempt to make up for with inconsistently glowing eyes for SOLDIER members... (It always seems zacks eyes glow extra bright when aeris points them out). I put this together to make it look as if it was some hidden model in crisis core or a direct psp sequel/remake of ff7, so I wanted consistency. Tried my best to make the custom work match square's style and stuff.

I do not believe a jpeg of a highly edited model (I spent lots of time trying to get my original textures to match the CC style!) is a rule infringement. If it is moderators will be sure to let me know and I will remove it.

As to useful to the community I originally made it with the intent of using it as a prank, but alas, full time work + university is... time consuming. If you guys want other shots of it, let me know, but otherwise it is not for release at any time.
