im trying to start a final fantasy mod, for unreal tournament,,not entirely sure how its gonna work, but its gonna be story line based i think. anyway, i need coders and i know theres some good ones here, who are into final fantasy. im a modeler as some of you may know and may remember me starting a sephiroth model a while ago...well, since then my skills have improved, and here is a link to my latest model.

i know theres a smoothing group issue with the hair, its been corrected since then...

so, anyone interested?

a little late to start a ut mod? sorry thats just my opinion. make a half-life 2 mod, which would be C

Just because UT is old doesn't mean its totally abandoned.

UT is good, so good that MANY people still play it, to my knowledge.

....besides, for all we know he could have also meant some of the newer UT versions (UT2k3, UT2k4, etc.)....

there were about 2000 on the servers last night on UT'99
I dunno about 2K4 as dial up can't play that a decent speeds. I seem to recall there is allready a mod being made. Check the mod boards on http://www.unrealtournament.com

That is an awesome looking model.. Even if its a bit late for a UT mod it's still a good game.. If anyone has any news about any Mods using FF characters please share it.. Thats really neat.

hehe i did actually mean the newer versions of unreal. i cant stand half life, im buying doom 3 when it comes out in 2 weeks, half life can piss on itself for all i care.

i dont really mind which engine i use, i would just like the unreal 2 engine, its very versatile, ive made most of the other ff7 characters (or at least got half way) so the modeling side is getting there, i just need coders and mappers really. i thought this would be a good comunity to check at since your all FF fans

so yeah...if anyone wants to help, or knows someone who would like to, please let me know, or direct them to me
