FF VII disc 3 broken

ok so i'm a nice guy and let my friend borrow FF7 PC since he loves it soo much etc. Anyway, somehow his tower manges to fall from his hands and samshed disc 3 in half. I have no clue wat happen, but i was pretty pissed off since well this game was given to me by friend waaaay b4 there was a win XP fix. So my question to u guys is this: Where can i go find FF VII pc besides ebay? Can Square-enix reapir the disc? If none of the above is possible, will i have to d/l ffvii? Any help would be apreciated.

You may still be able to request a replacement disc from Eidos.  Otherwise, buy one off eBay, or maybe you'd be able to find one at a used game place.

And... this is why I keep back-ups of all of my discs, especially before I let anyone borrow one.

i see. if i ask Eidos for a replacement disc, will i have to pay? I don't  mind if i have to. AS for backin up my cds, heh I think i'll do that from now on.
