WallMarket can allow you to change the sounds of the weapons (and a lot of other stuff). Just see what sounds (and sound bank) Sephy's weapon is using and change Cloud's accordingly.

Every value for Masamune's sound values should be copied directly to the weapon(s) that you want to sound like that. If that doesn't work then there's something else at work at determining sounds (I haven't played with these values too much, that's just what I've been told works).

Sure enough it's not saving correctly. :(

Tell you what. Double-Click on the weapon you want to change. In the first row, 12th column you should see a F8 (For Cloud's Weapons at least). Change that to FB. Then on the bottom row, fifth and sixth columns you see 12 1B. Change those to 7B 78 and click on "OK". Then save and those changes will work in the game.

Raw editing like that works almost absolutely.

Is it just the typing that gives you overflows or is it trying to save that does it?

Then I can't help you since I'm not getting those kinds of errors. Is there more details to the error you're getting? Tell me what they are if there is.

OK, I was finally able to reproduce the error you're getting and I know why it is what it is. For now, edit it like I told you before by changing the raw values after double-clicking. This was a total goof-up on my part and it won't work if Hit% > 99. Yeah, there's no rhyme or reason for that other than to say that I screwed up. I'm working on a new version anyway so this'll be fixed soon. Just don't click that box for now.

Im really curious what sound effects your going to use 8-)

A lot of the free ones that are floating on the internet sounds terrible
Luckily there are a lot of affordable royalty free sound effects now a days.
