Well everything that works differently then a PC but has similar hardware is emulatable. The thing is, consoles now á days are more and more like computers like you and me use them for regular desktop work.

The next stage of emulator will not work if they even attempt to recreate the same enviroment as the console (CPU, GPU, IO etc) but possibly its time to look at translating code in realtime rather than emulating the functions of the cpu etc?

This is indeed very likely to happen. The console's now have similar hardware to computers now (XboX is entirely x86) so rather them emulating like we do/did now, it would be more effecient to just load the rom onto the computer hardware (for which you'd still need an emulator but this wont emulate the hardware but just the way the hardware should be interpeted).

Thanks for this. Enjoyed listening to some of the remixes. Most of them are very mediocre or even badly done, but some are very good.

As mentioned before especially Son of Chaos is very good. Jenova Returns and Omnislash are well performed and composed as well.

Oh, and hi all. It's been some time, 3 weeks short of a year to be precise.

Unfortunatly thats the new Square strategy since they hooked up with Enix.
Every FF from FF12 onwards is going to be like a mini series. Well FF11 had several releases as well...
Why couldn't they release FF12 on a next gen format? The PS2 is well out of date for that game..

They've been working on it for so long, it'd seem like a crappy ps3 game but a neat ps2 game, so I guess it would sell more.

I'm not going to download the torrent, as I have metered bandwidth and they decided to include WAV versions of songs in that and inflated it up to 2.32GB. Also, why is this posted under completely unrelated?

Not only the best torrent-client ever, it's also able to pick and choose the files you want to download.

At least the 2.5 version is very good, dunno about this newfangled Vuze-multimedia-crap. Not planning to try, either.

The Vuze shit sucks! I have it but I set it to old lay-out, starts a bit slower now tough, i shoukld go back to old one

Just do some different things before you let 'em breed like a few battles, enter some towns etc..

It'll stay the same way if you go from the save to the breeding directly everytime over.
