I use FF 7 Steam and Tifa's 7th Heaven version 1.52 and have some mods installed:
- Animations
- Battle Model - Characters
- Battle Model - Enemies
- Battle Model - Weapons
- Field Model - Objects
- Gameplay - Difficulty & Story
- Gameplay - Tweaks & Cheats
- Menu - Avatars & Backdrops
- The Reunion - Beacause & Menu Overhaul
- Misc - Dynamic Cloud Weapons
- Misc - Jessie Mod
I tried using Jessie mod and started a new game then recruit Jessie. After defeating Guard Scorpion, I run back. Before entering the room where you must use the passcode with Jessie and Wedge, another Jessie stands at the door preventing me to enter and said that Wedge is missing. I spend too much time before I found where Wedge is and decided to quit the game (only 3 minutes left). Then when I restarted the game, the game's not responding to keyboard input. Only Ctrl+Q and Alt+F4 give respond. Pressing Alt+F4 closes the game, pressing Ctrl+Q shows the quit game confirmation but got stuck again and it doesn't respond to Alt+F4 this time. The only way to close it is ending the process from Task Manager. I tried restarting Windows and it still has the same problem. What should I do? Reinstall the game?
PS.
I was downloading Cloud Dynamic Weapons when I played Jessie mod. Is playing while downloading mods OK?
I also tried deactivating all mods except Animation and problem still persists.
I re-map the button setting to match the Steam version.
