Has anybody who has visited a topic, in which a new-registered user has posted?

I think he is ... after all, all the accounts that got transferred from the last board lost their rank.

I think he meant "info about the user" rather than the Official "User Profile".

Ok I see.... well I guess that phpBB can assign ranks to new members but old members that were transfered from a different message board system can't

edit: but look in the Feedback forum.... Qhimm's hinted there that the Ranks will be coming back with the new (much anticipated) style!

yeah, the rank is probably assigned when a person registers.

The reason new users have ranks is because there is only one rank at the moment - Newbie. I started adding ranks, but never finished.

Question: Why doesn't the signature option work?

The only person that I've seen that looks like he got the option working is Sephiroth 3D.

Or, perhaps even more likely, I have intentionally disabled it. I don't know how Seph3D does it, probably manually.

Yep, no ranks are stored in the sql database at all.
Since qhimm only set the ranks for users with 1-20 posts,
only newbies have ranks.
Once they hit 21 posts, their rank will disappear.
If anyone would tell me the old post rankings, I'll add them to the database.
