You do still need Roses and Wine to use this mod.

If you want something more minimal, there a lite version of Roses and Wine that doesn't change the music, but still allows for mods like this to be used.

isn't that technical what a forum is for debating things regardless of opinons or anything having a debate means all opinons/facts sud be listend to regardless of what u think of the person, or if you think their trolling if their post makes sences towards the topic at hand it can't be classed as trolling or just coursing an argument. i've notced from reading a few theads on this forum that some people desmiss other peoples opinons based of past but don't forget people grow/change over the years.

i tryed turing it off still crashed at the same point cud be my vid card settings i surpose but i doubt that as i'm using the launcher that came before this with no probs so i think i'll wait untill alii releases a new driver before i mess around with the driver any more

A familiar pattern around here is the ones who don't contribute anything to FF7 are the same ones who go round trolling.  Always stuck in this section bringing up as many things as possible to get a reaction.  It is sad...  but not surprising that Kud is a regular over at 4chan. 

He goes on about Hermoor 24/7 but is no better than him.  I suggest Kud and jari go and join him, they are more alike than they believe.

back to the topic:

The whole point of the statistical slant was to show that people who quote "Planes are the safest" are basing it on dodgy stats; parroting the propaganda and brainwashing that is peddled by the media and aviation, and that a fairer stat is the deaths by JOURNEY NUMBER.  I don't think anyone here feels safer knowing that they are more likely to die in a plane by journey number and instead think "oh well, by miles travelled I am...so...I will just think of happy thoughts.  It's gonna be a goooooood day.".  That would be crazy.  The reason the aviation use that stat is because it looks good (honestly, that's obvious).  The reason the insurers use the death by journey number is because it is a more faithful statistic.  Yes I said more faithful, not perfect.

Planes usually crash and burn on take off or landing.. so what happens in-between is largely irrelevant.

I did not mean to claim that the stats show conclusively that planes are more dangerous than car, but that at best, planes are no more safe.  If I said that or gave that impression then I retract it.  They certainly are NOT the safest form of transport.  That is a fact.  An undeniable fact.  I am well aware that even the death by journey stats are not perfect and have problems in interpretation but they are far fairer than death by hours travelled or distance travelled. 

I would also like to add that given the choice of death, most of us would like the sharp fast death of car. If something goes wrong in a plane, generally you will be alive for a long time, in utter panic the likes of which you cannot conceive.  You are placing your life in the hands of a human operator, and hence most accidents in plane are human error related.  I am afraid that human error does exist on plane.. it doesn't just stop because the Aviation's dodgy stats say so.

I did not manipulate any statistics, as I did not compile the stats, I merely stated them.  The fact is, kud is just trolling and I would wager in direct conversation with his buddy, the lunatic Jari.   


If either had any real care for debate they would have attempted it, instead they made everyone aware that they have no argument other than "MANIPULATION!!!!!" and at the same time made their trolling look ridiculously blatant.  It is no surprise to find that the same people are the source of every argument on this forum and always will be.  You would have thought that their enormous practice at it would have made them more competent trolls, but as I said, they do it so much they have become complacent.  This thread has become the biggest joke ever, and it is all on Kud and jari!

i saw an argument full of weak points and pointed them out. no where did i see an opinon, opinons and arguments are 2 seperat things in my book, and as u can see opinons are different and not much detailed research goes into them once he had done that much research it becomes an argument. thats how i see it informed opinons are different again and i have dyslexia

oh nice i posted on that site and my comments removed because of a simple thing that happend on disc 1 with detroys the guys whole argument which is when elli sends them to the past for the first time which becomse reacuring through the next 2 disc's and not just that i've also been baned from posting on there and had my comment removed lol so i'm taking it as i'm rite regardless now the guy who put it up has lost all respect from me i wudn't bother even posting a comment the guy doesn't want people who know the game inside out posting

ff7 has stoped working for me all together the newest update does the same thing as the last for me don't know why but the app log isn't recording anything at all

i will try reinstalling FF7. do i need any of the other driver versions installed first? since the opengl driver reg isn't in the new one

gotenksssj22002 are you using vista or win7 ? and if you are using vista or win7 do you have UAC on ? have you installed VC++ redist 2005 and VC++ redist 2008 ?

i was running win 7 with all uac crap turned off but now i'm on xp sp3 got everything i need to play but if it helps i'll reinstall the VC++ redist 2005/2008

hey i got a copy of FF7 original last night installed it updated to 1.02 and all installed opengl driver after running my FF7 config, i set the gl config to what i wanted and everything but found it wudn't play any movies untill i install truemotion codec other then that the driver works fine and as i said in my last post i'm on windows 7 and using FF8 with no problem with ur driver i even have the pause writing show up in the game i will get a pic of it to show ya

rite just wondering if anyone had any luck with getting the sound in vista/windows 7 to stop muting its self during certen parts of FF7 cuz i don't really want download a ton of mp3's if i don't have to

hey there just posting to say love the custom driver for FF8 although it ran fine in vista but for some reason in windows 7 it slows down alot maybe its cuz my comp is bout 4 years old but windows 7 seems to love the old games i was exspecting a problem with FF8 install but it installed no problem any ways can't wait for the next upgrade of this driver oh and plus all my game vids work no problem

I'm sorry to ask once again but i can't seem to get the FSAA to work at all i've added it to my nvidia control panel and told it to use globle settings but i still can't get it to alow me to use the drop down arrow for the settings although its a great patch i'm running it on an nvidia 8400 gs 512meg

ok guys can anyone tell me how to get the launcher to use my AA nvidia settings cuz i'm having no luck at all

rite i asked once now its annoying me i can not get the launcher to use my nvida settings at all its annoying me so i ask once again will someone plz tell me how to do it i have a 2.8 dual core with 1 gig ram and a 8400gs 512meg nvidia card with vista ultimate on my comp so will u plz tell me i've read through the whole post and repiles and nothing has helped me get to be able to use my nvidia settings although the no black blocks is a + but i get lines across me screen when i use a screen bigger then 800x600
