Hi guys
I Was browsing Asian Web stores, looking for a pre order on Transformers Tatakai , and bumped into a pre order for FFX-2 and the Last Mission pack,
The Description claims:
Quote

Final Fantasy X-2 International + Last Mission is based on the US release of Final Fantasy X-2, with English dialogs, extra missions in the Yadonoki Tower, and bonus movie scenes not found in the original Japanese version. A bonus Last Mission Disc is included with the game, which contains all movie scenes from Final Fantasy X-2, plus three unpublished bonus movies.

Can Any one CONFIRM that it does indeed have English Dialog/Subtitles, and is it throughout the game and movies?

hey guys, some one posted something here a while back, and its given me some ideas.
I was thinking of a FF7 diary. Where day by day i play about a few hours worth, and post all the strange and corny things that happen in FF7 in an attempt to prevoke an explanation to "further increase my knowledge" as one person posted before (cant remember the name).

Maybe everyone could start playing FF7 again, and we could all make notes and post them here, not just day by day, but area by area, ie: sector7, sector5, kalm, junon etc

Square is finally re-releasing FF7 on the PS2 on DVD

i have to SoftXG 70 that came with FF7, now that i have a voodoo5 and im running ff7 SMOOTH with 4xFSAA at full framerate and NO graphics problems, i want to work on the sound quality, ill be testing soundfonts, FF7music and SoftXG if i can get an update/upgrade/patch or even DL/crkx/etc ive seen a topic before, but i searched for XP and XG and no results :(

regarding a psx ff8 memory save editor
thought id have alook to see if they ripped Qhimm's one.
but no, its the author of psxmemtools, who has been around, and judging by the information  in the screenshots, it looks like he has been able to edit location data, and actually has all the possible values listed. maybe theres something in there that can be added to the greiver source??
fice, alhexx shinra?? anyone had a look?

Anyone here into anime?
i just got adsl, and using iMesh/etc (file sharing), ive been able to get a good feel of the ranma 1/2 tv series(s) and videos
my questions are:
-anyone here into anime? name some great ones (so i can download em :))
-when does ranma 1/2 end? ive seen the OVA #12 (last one i think) but it dont look like it ever ends? (viz comics say series 7 is the last ever?)
-know any good places (cough-sites/ftp/servers) for these episodes?
and lastly RANMA ROCKS :D

yes i finally did it!!!
i have these specs
geforce 3
athlon 1700xp
ibm60g hdd
512ddr
soundblaster audigy
and this setup
FF7 v1.2
ff7 config 1.2 NVIDA TNT CHECKED IN OPTIONS!!
win xp home
detonator xp 23.12 (downloaded from windows update)
Riva tuner RC10.xx (get it from http://www.warp2search.net)

i did the following
opened rivatuner when to texture settings for direct3d and for dx7 apps DISABLED 8bit pallatized textures
so i fail the test in ff7config, but i have to check the tnt box to bypass it!
and it works woooohooo

Guys u and I cant be bothered running threw countless topics to find a link to that patch u remember threesixtey talking about fixing geforces on ff8, or that 3dfx mode demo of Final Fantasy VII,
or even the Final Fantasy FAQ website ( I remember there being one... full of tips and patches etc)
so please post ur most usefull FF7/8 related links here :)

anyways, now that this is abit of a permamnent abode, the design is good, but i love the original blue/white, it made readings those long posts easier to read :smile:

i have to say i got my preview version of windowsXP rc1 and im full translated XP fan now  :)
i think its a wonderfull change and well worth the new name.
ill keep u all posted on compatibility:
- due to the win2k core theres no aspi layer so my PowerDVD needs to be replaced  :(
-my Homechoice set top box ADSL modem is running perfect (or i wouldnt be here).
-pretty easy to configure, my SBLIVE! Geforce2pro and intellieye intellimouse are all auto detected and the PCI modem all had drivers preinstalled during setup.
-my toshiba combo DVD-cdrw is detected and is write enabled.

yep u read it right
i got an elsa Geforce3 and i cant quite get the graphics working right with FF7.
the fonts loked mashed the feild graphics flash and i even tried turning on the riva TNT option in the FF7 config but that locks my system. HELP!!!
and whats a good geforce3 FAQ site?
and where do i download the rest of those spiffy 3d demonstrations.

but theres no point in spending loads of cash, if u cant even play ff7 on it!!!
so please gimme ur honest opinion of the following in terms of compatibility with ff7/ff8

yep
my ATi Rage 128 never had hardware acceleration in win2k, not till i tried the new drivers from ati.
more stability plus a pass in the ff7 config allows for 3d accerlerated ff7.
BUT every thing is blue!!
all the 2d graphics are blue, and the 3d graphics and groud lighting is uneffected, a very rare effect, could also b usefull if u want to study something, ill post the  link to shots soon.

yea, threee pages was abit too long so i started another one  :D
ok, i got to try out the new system today and so far i found:
it doesnt loop.
and the seek/loading time is abit long (on intial loading of the mp3)
and it is still tops  :D

well well well im impressed! the first time we can EXPORT background files, and the layers can be seen individualy thats a biiig step in the right direction..
if u dont know what im talking about go get ficedulas latest cosmo v0.85 i think from his site (cant remember the new url  :()
