i think that biggs you have so far is perfect.. it looks like the in-game model w/ more detail gathered from the concept art.. just what i expect from TA, besides everything would look horrible if we uped the pixel count and just kept exactly the same amount of detail...

a.  When you have opened a save file, simply clicking "save" should automatically save the file you opened, not ask you to find the folder again and overwrite save files
Sorry but this will never happen there is a chance that you file after editing will not work properly in ff7. since you can break you save just by changing the values in your save.
b.  The app should navigate automatically to the save folder by default every time.
This will most likely not happen either since i have no way to correctly predict where ff7 is installed. eventually i may set up some sort of config file to allow you to set you default save folder.
when you set the 'points to next level' to 1, in the game, it doesn't seem to actually level up when the 1 point is given in battle
it should be noted here that any other editor that allows you to set a chars next or exp value does not exactly work. next is only a place holder. exactly what bosola said above about it.

I thought it just applied the palette at runtime. perhaps by using an index for the color data(like some formats allow)

Thanks for your help but now I can't seem to find a program that will open those files. I tried img2tex but that keeps giving me error 9. Any ideas?

ok after looking at the data type i should be able to pull off that higher cap (just need to make room for it on the form)...this will be included in v 1.3 when it is released

Edit: 1.3 will include a cap of 65535 for , battles (party) runs(party) kills(char)

I can't set anyone's kills over 9999... which is a problem for Vincent since they need to be set at 65535 so the overflow glitch works.

yes thats called an input cap , its put there so people don't break save games by putting to high of a value. i will look in to raseing that cap to the possible highest value with out breaking you save.

There are 723 sounds? Wow. :o I'll try to find some sound effects but hell this will be a hell of a project.

thats nothing there are 11k + objects in battle.lgp and we have them all SSed and mostly ided..

The End: You just can't trank him. You... YOU CAN'T! Unless you unlocked the Mosin-Nagent you can't trank him in a sniper fight with a god damn Handgun. Trank Runs are easiest after you get the Mosin tho I think you need to trank him for the mosin anyway. I tranked him pretty fast in my game, cause I have badass aim on MGS in First Person.

you can trank him you just have to be really good @ sneaking... (also if you hold him up you can get his moss cammo) then it gets harder...

and vulgan is really ez to kill w/ the hankerchief.

oh well since were gonna talk about Metal Gear  and games rage...

i have a few mgs rage moments..

mgs1: wtf, you meant to tell me that im so good at the torture part that the game thinks im cheating, but if i slow it down a tad i die on extreme.. meh..

mgs2: the jet on extreme is almost impossible to beat he has one attack that kills you no matter where you are.. and after that in extreme you have to kill a LOT of metal gears....

mgs2,substance VR missions: Hang drop catch is so %^*#$ng hard it not right. i mean really i can't hang drop catch. but i can beat the whole game on its hardest setting.

mgs3: try to shoot all the frogs, the second to last one is on a run way your on a bike and have ~ .2 of a second to get the shot off its like 400 yards away.

mgs3: when you have one eye dogs suck even more!


that is all i got for now..
