I was able to download the enhanced movies 2 part 1 to 4 but the enhanced movies 1 doesnt have part 1 and 2 here:  http://www.mediafire.com/?bt3b84nfih4nd

OSTRe and music install is still not working. rapidshare is really acting up and I think the files are already deleted.

ff7music_install_15113.exe is on mediafire (which HAS been acting up lately, so I'd not be surprised if you were having problems with it). But ostre is still on rapidshare, I'm looking at it in my file manager right now.

in my bootleg, i need to download ff7music_install_15112.exe which can be found here: https://rapidshare.com/files/3788309481/ff7music_install_15112.exe

BTW where is ff7_enhanced_movies_1.part1.rar and ff7_enhanced_movies_1.part2.rar here: http://www.mediafire.com/?bt3b84nfih4nd

please help, ff7_enhanced_movies_1.part1.rar, ff7_enhanced_movies_1.part2.rar and ff7music_install_15112.exe are the files i need to finish modding.

Bootleg 0039 boss fight problem
I installed these awesome updates a few days ago, tried it out and all seemed to work fine. When I started a new game today however the first forced encounter is always a back attack guard hound instead of the two grunts who then appear in place of the guard scorpion. So I'm assuming the boss fights are all now going to be staggered.

I did a reinstall only to find the problem to remain. I searched the forums to find a topic saying to use Proud Clod to open my scene.bin file and fix the scene look-up table which I also did but again didn't do anything.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

Are you using mode switching?
Did you install Menu Overhaul?
What difficulty modes are you using?
Where did you install the game?
Don't install to a system folder like Program Files or Users or Desktop.
Instead, install to a folder such as C:\Games\Final Fantasy VII\

I installed mode switching but just left it on normal
Yes! I removed the save anywhere in 2nd install as thought problem might have been caused by me saving after train intro
Normal
My 2nd HDD used just for files in:
D:\Final Fantasy VII
then 2nd install in
D:\game  (was meant to add FFVII directory after that)

Are you using new spell names or Aeris Revival?

Did you try running ProudClod, loading scene.bin and then creating scene.bin?

New spells yes but no Aeris Revival and tried Proud clod which didn't fix my issue.

I reinstalled for a 3rd time with the only change being selecting normal vanilla game mode instead of mode switching and the game is running normal so far :D

I discovered another bug with mode switching.
If you're using Menu Overhaul ReTranslation, then mode switching is broken for New Spell Names and Aeris Revival in Normal mode.

Hi all, I have recently taken an interest in Bootleg mod,so I downloaded it set up the BFE with the settings I wanted to use. Once I went to check the mod listing to download the mods I needed, almost all of the mediafire links were broken and says "File Belongs to Suspended Account.". So my questions are is there alternative links? Or does it just say that for me specifically? Because I have not seen any posts about this yet.

P.s. I love what the modding community has done with FF7 keep on keeping on

Mediafire is going through some changes.
Links are dying quickly.
Sometimes they come back, but not always.
I'm attempting to mirror the files.
I'll update the links as I find new places to host the files.

Any suggestions for hosting the larger files are welcome . . .

Seems like anything with even a hint of Final Fantasy in the name has been suspended from mediafire.
Yay, 25th anniversary rerelease.

Sounds like we need to start making releases for "Blinal Blantasy".

Try looking for the files you need here and download it. Nope. Read the rules. ~Covarr

Hope it helps!

I'm uploading files to RapidShare, 4Shared, FileDen and FileFactory.
This will take me a few days, but I'll eventually update all of the links.
Keep checking The Big List of FF7 Mods for the most current download links.

I made a first pass through The Big List of FF7 Mods to update broken links.
If anyone finds a broken link, please report it to me.
Even better, if you have the file upload it somewhere and share the link!
I'll update the BFE mod list soon.

I received a request for help about 8 hours ago, while I was away, on IRC.

<BootUser1216> Hi i'm having an issue with the mikes custom pack on bootleg, everytime i set them up on bootleg and run the game, the buster sword keeps coming up as the millenia sword is there any possible way for me to fix it? my email is ***@***

Whoever that might be, I sent you an email, but in case I will post it here as well.

Hi,
I received your help request for your error with Bootleg swords. Currently, there is no "simple" way to fix it, but I will explain anyway. Search on the Qhimm forums in the Tools forum for ulgp, then download it. Read the readme. Use the GUI (Graphical User Interface, which simply means you don't need to type in the console). Extract the ZIP of Mike's custom models somewhere, then open your battle.lgp (located under the .\data\battle\ folder) with ulgpGUI and replace "rtck" (which is Cloud's Buster Sword). Save.

There, it should be fixed. If you didn't understand or it didn't work, you can come back to IRC and tell me. As you may have noticed, there is an auto-reply when I am disconnected, and if you type /whois Vgr you should see something saying I'm away. I do always read my messages on IRC, though, so don't worry.

Might want to give filetrip.net a try.  It's the closest one to Mediafire that I've found.

Grimmy's AC Cloud model is not compatible with the Slayersnext buster sword.
Bootleg defaults to the Millenia buster sword model when using Grimmy's AC Cloud with the Slayersnext weapons.

From Bootleg_ReadMe.txt
-Slayersnext's Cloud weapons are not entirely compatible with Grimmy's AC Cloud.  Millenia's weapons are used for Cloud's first two swords.

@Pitbrat

Wanted to know if AC Yuffie broken battle animation is actually the mod itself or an end result of bootleg? Also if it is bootleg are there any plans to fix this?

BTW excellent mod manager.
