Well he doesn't actually die, since it is Reeve controlling a robot cat... lmao.  In the correct translation of the game Cait makes it clear that the robot body is expendable.

That was pretty clear even in the original translation.

I would love to know how Cait Sith 2 got to the temple of the ancients so fast. Did Reeve know all along he'd be losing the first one and have a second one ready for this specific occasion, or was the second robot following them the whole time? If the second one was always there, why did it never help in battle? Did he use the same magic that Batman used to get back to Gotham in The Dark Knight Rises?

Reeve rescued Tseng and had left there a copy of the robot (without new weapon equipment of course :x) as he saw how things turn out.

Yeah Cait Sith 2 mysteriously has all the same equipment and materia of Cait Sith 1.  And why is this remote controlled stuffed animal with mechanical cat riding on its head level up?  How does a silver armlet increase that things defense?  Aren't Limit Breaks suppose to be the result of getting hit so many times that you rage-out on the enemy?...how then does Cait have Limit Breaks?!  anyway....should probably get back to work lol.

Rushed...  like most things with that dire character.  Rather than have him (cait 2) pop up later Cait was shoehorned in it seems.  So they just didn't bother making it remotely realistic, but he is a toy robot on top of a white stuffed toy so I guess by that point they'd given up with him haha

In this trolling really death "Reeve", Sefirot go back to Shinra corporation for learn white materia, later Reeve died and Caith Sith disconnect  :-D
