Tokyo governor: Japan deserved the earthquake
« on: 2011-03-14 12:28:19 »
http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2011/03/14/ishihara-quake-is-divine-retribution-against-japan/

Warnings for NSFW ads, as always.

Yes, the governor of Tokyo, a notoriously bigoted fuckwit and author of pornographic novels where mentally disabled young girls get violently raped and tortured to death, thinks that the earthquake was divine retribution for Japan's decadence. Shintaro Ishihara has served three terms as governor of Tokyo and this comment, which will go down well with the WWII PoW camp guard who make up 90% of the voting population in Japan, is likely to win him further support as he campaigns for a fourth reign of terror.

Is this the same guy that said the bombing of Hiroshima/Nagasaki was a good thing? Sounds about the same to me.

I can't remember whether he said anything like that, but it wouldn't surprise me.

He has said that homosexuals and otaku have corrupted DNA, and he wants to ban anime/manga/video games that he deems inappropriate, hoping that a ban in Tokyo will lead to a ban across Japan. He believes that his disabled loli rape and torture novels should not be covered by this ban, since they don't have the same corrupting effect.

He has a history of making comments like this, yet is still elected repeatedly for governorship.

You always get one like this... If he resides in Japan they should kick him out on a boat.  There was 1 American who said same thing about New Orleans.

Idiots.

The difference is that the one American was regarded as a crackpot by his fellow countrymen, whereas Ishihara is likely to win support after making this comment.

This is how you make things seem good.

It is always the same, there are always a few among us who have to relate disaster to some sort of rationality, even if that is way off base, like some sort of punishment for "our behaviour".  People like to blame people for anything that goes wrong.  I am surprised he hasn't said it is God, but I guess that's cause it is Japan.  If it was Pakistan it would be because there are infidels in the country. hahahaha

All that tells me is this gov. is not fit for office, and is a retard.

Unfortunately the people decide who is 'fit for office' and that this man with such ludicrous ideas is, in fact, not a retard, although anyone that votes for such a man certainly could be.

Evidently it is easy to make some things sound good to some people - even many things sound good to most people:
Mr. O, "Healthcare for everyone! No more dying children!"
Citizens 1-230,000,000, "Sounds awesome, let's vote for him."
Irrelevent Citizen, "That is a wonderful idea.  How will you pay for it?"
Mr. O, "mumblemumble...Its free!"

The people who vote for him aren't retarded.

They're senile.

I'd rather pay more taxes, and have socialized health care, than the shitpile we have now.  Don't know about you, but I like being like most every other first world country
