FFVII antialiasing patch. where can i find it?

I have heard that this patch:

features antialaising for the game and other gfx updates. i want that. but i dont want that patch since it messes up your midis and it is combinationof other peoples patchesthat were ripped.

So where do i get the original antialiasing patch?

oh and can i use patchesthat edit the exe file in combination?
like chocobo patch +better gfx patch

There is no antialiasing patch for FF7pc. If you use NVIDIA's video card (gf3, gf4ti, fx5600), you can enable 2x2 AA with RivaTuner. It should solve the grid problem in 2D background.

what is "Rivatuner" and where do i get it? Also is it compitable with all game version and the chocobo patch?

You should not install that XP patch and here's why.

Rivatuner can work with the FF7 Chocobo patch, if that's what you're asking.  You can get it here.

guess for easier, i'll just uninstall the game, then i'll reinstall it, and find those patches that you mentioned... (1.02, chocobo patch) but by the way does the chocobo patch solve the skateboarding issue? (i am able to skateboard in the XP patch though...)

ive just installed FFVII and when i try to run it

it just wont work..

well firstly when i click on the .exe the screen goes black..

then.. comes back to desktop..

and i d/l a patch that i found off da net..

"WHICH DIDNT WORK!"

well... someone please help?

I'm sorry if I am breaking the revival rule of threads here, but it is related and will stop me from making a new thread.  

Now I'm assuming that there isn't an FFVII anti-aliasing patch available... but is there a program that can allow the user to select programs which will use anti-aliasing?
