What do you guys (and gals) like to do for fun? After a long day of work or school (for those that live either one or both of these), what do you do to relax?
I play the Xbox, watch TV or surf the net (not much of a social life anymore; financial reasons). :(

most of my time is taken up by 2 jobs, and university, study, but my nightly routine when coming in, is check qhimm, youtube subscriptions, chat with chocobogurl and hit the sack.

When I get outta work, I just laze about my house. If I feel like being social (which I do once a day, so I can just gtfo of my house) I just chill with friends, play a game or something. If I have money and feel like being social, an herb is usually involved. Usually though, I just lay around

Back when I had cash (and a job) I would go chill with some friends, have a good time, and such. But now I'm just a student, school and home is pretty much the only places I'd be. Possibly occasional gatherings with friends. I'm not mentally prepared to have a job and going to college at the same time. I will be but just not now.

Surf the internet, play games and stuff, whatever I feel like doing in the moment (and sometimes, I feel like doing something completely random). Generally, I just laze around. Exactly what you'd expect of someone like me =)

I'm sure you meant Xbox lol. On another note, me and a friend were playing MW2 and he was all like "f*****cckkkk mannnnnn I'm buuzzzzzzziiinnnnng mannnnnnn!!" it was hilarious! :D

Am I the only person here who breaks into a cold sweat when they get asked this question IRL?
There's no way I could answer it truthfully, so I never know what to say. I usually just tell people that I do nothing.
General geekery is what I do for fun. And by that I mean reading VNs and discussions about computer components and Japanese pornography with Internet paedophiles*. Really, that's just about it.

I'm pretty sure this question was intended for 500+ posters/veterans of the forums but i have nothing better to do right now So i will reply anyway. When not studying/attending class/attending internet class i can be found in any one of three extreme forms. Either completely immersed in whatever project i'm working on at the time (currently testing the limits of what i can do with psx FFVII), some form of outdoor physical activity (usually running through the woods or leaping from rock to rock in the creek near my house [yes this is unusual, i know]), or smoking **** and getting drunk. btw, i'm your child's future school psychologist--Don't worry i'm good at what i do. :-D So yeah...Computer + Nature + Mind Altering Substances yay!

Mostly, I just play piano (+sing) or Left 4 Dead 2. Less often, I'll play something else, for example yesterday I beat Super Mario World and Sonic The Hedgehog. I also like to watch lots of TV and movies (especially classic Disney movies).
But I wasn't able to bring my parents keyboard with me to my dorm when I left for college last month, so I haven't played any piano in a while and am going through withdrawal. So I'm spending my financial aid moneys on a Casio CTK-3000 Premium Pack (http://www.amazon.com/Casio-CTK-3000-Keyboard-Professional-Headphones/dp/B001FSJC14), which I should have in a few weeks.
I can't be the only musician around here. Anybody like to sing or play an instrument? And no, an iPod is not an instrument.

work on my house, play guitar, go out to the bars with the GF, hang with friends(usually at the bar), work on FF7 mods(though currently im hooked on fallout 2 AGAIN)...and any manner of other fun stuff. Honestly though, video games take up the smallest portion of my time, i spend more time lurking on qhimm than i do with any other VG related activity.

I have different phases... Sometimes I can't get my mind off women, for at least one month, so at the time I'm into erotic stuff. Drawing hentai, watching hentai, browsing pr0n, continue writing my erotic story, etc. This is phase 1.
Then, phase 2 : I watch TV. A lot. Went through LOST (I was happy with this series, even though the scenarists kinda jumped the shark in season 6), Heroes, and more recently Breaking Bad (awesome, I can't wait for season 4 in July). I also tried to watch Buffy since I heard good things about it, but it bored me in season 3 (gotta admit the season 2 finale was great, though).
Phase 3 follows just after : video-game mood. I play new games, on the PS3 and stuff. But I quickly notice I'm not having huge fun. Uncharted 2 was lame, God of War 3 was so so, and FFXIII was lame too. The only PS3 game I still play regularily is Wipeout HD Fury (online).
And Phase 4 : feeling disappointed with the newer games, I go back to older ones. Brigandine never leaves my PSP. You could sentence me to play this game for all eternity, and I'd still be happy (definitely the tactical RPG with the higher replay-value - and I played many). And when I play FF4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 again, I get the urge to continue working on my FF7 mod.
I am in Phase 4 right now, and it's only a matter of time before I get back to phase 1 (my geek-cycle goes on). Still, the more I work on my mod, the more fun I get out of it - so chances are that I won't put my mod on pause again for a while.

i do some coding or messing with linux boxes. sometimes i waste time on youtube or forums.
also, typical housework, cleaning, making lunch for tomorrow (so i can get more sleep in the morning) etc. not much social life here, move along people.

Yesterday, for fun, I played Sonic 4. Got 6 emeralds, beat all the levels.
The physics aren't quite right, but the game still kicks ass.

Never got into wow, however spent months in Runescape (classic version, not the garbage they run today). If i were to rank order the games I've played in terms of overall time spent playing then it would probably look like this: 1. FFVII 2. Runescape 3. COD4. Halo2 is in there as are many other ps1 generation games. Evidently I'm incapable of keeping up with the times since the newest game I play nowadays is...WallMarket 1.4.0

Working on my sites, as well as learning the C++ language in my spare time. Occasionally I will attempt to leave my small shed and branch out and have a social life...very rare though.

@mako don't feel bad im sure there are a few of us who don't have a social life, i know im one of them. if ms.sith didn't force me to leave the house from time to time i prolly would just to to work then home...

i don't drink or do any drugs so i have always had to find an alternative "fun", lets see... i drink copious amounts of pepsi, play random video games, draw anime, watch anime, dream anime, love anime, whisper sweet nothings to anime, listen to music, and eat alot.

Oh yeah, and I'll occasionally pick up something to code in C or Java, but as of this school semester it's usually class related. I *really* need to get around to stepping up to C++...

For fun..let's see, no siblings, no friendly neighbors, so I settle for the next best thing...hentai and pictures/videos of the female body in various pleasurable positions, of course, that's for Saturday nights, usually when I'm going through a phase similar to what Armorville mentioned, other than that, it's mainly anime, recently started watching bleach, continously re-watching Gurren Lagann(13 times so far) and various other shows, I also play video games. When it comes to spending my time constructively though, It's usually just practicing in anime studio, weights lifting, making girls I know feel uncomfortable and studying and I've also recently been trying to get into rom-hacking. Nothing all that interesting compared to everyone else unfortunately.
