You can put them together, but you'll lose some stuff out of either this patch, or the hardcore one. I am working on a fix, but it'll be a long time before I can do anything.

I want to add your Aerith's path in my game, applying it in CD3 only to avoid any bugs in scenes and in the PHS menu.

Also I want to know if it's possible to edit "extra" text that you put in her (My game is in Spanish)

I think need somes scripts editing in makou reactor and paciene...The white materia creat with wallmarket HP<->MP to white colour materia  and renamed,it's think easy xD

For ask of white materia I can try use scripth the permission snowboard game in icicles aera

In case of add this paremetres and correctly, and the new's text (in add aeris revived example), how change text??

This can compile for editing in touphscript?

My mod it's english version 1.02 with spanish text not official 1.03 and mod of this texts for my.

1.I wanted the "masamume path" but only is in this forum, and it's deleted...Not exist download T.T

Anyone have and can send? Think only have this possibility...I this case can send me MP and get the msn for contact or email!!!

2.It's problem think it's seriosly...Máxium MP cost for magic attack is 255?  In wallmarket try change numbre and only see 250...is max of game?It's posible change this limitation?

If you mean resize has failed, looks like you have menu mod selected on...  needs to be off ecayse you are not using menu mod.

Set >
menumod = 0 in touphscript.ini

and

# Autosize options
autosize_width = 1
autosize_height = 1

Incredible, it's run!!!! All windows have in perfect size :)

I talk with PitBrat and finally conclution...Is create "universal path" for translation english to spanish (in version english) for compatibility moding, and future for other's spanish moders can create easy english/spanish version, PitBrat later speak with others members for possible solution...It's a resumed of problem

1. Use touhscripth with 1.03 spanish (not offical, but only this run with program text) and dump all files ----> IT'S OK
(but the problem for continue modding this version is ff7.exe 0kb, it's impossible continue edit)

2.Then all's text extract of 1.03 send to ff7 english version (e) encoding with touhpscripth ---> IT'S OK
(not write failed, use 1.03 for this, in 1.00/1.02 always failed in ff7.exe)

3.Resize windows for see well the spanish text -----> FAILED, IT'S IN FIRST REALLY PROBLEM
(in spanish version it's very long size comparate with english)

Can edit text names of tresours in spanish version 1.02 with "Touphscript", Fatal error: Unexpected end of exe.txt

I change Sflevel to flevel and reedit world_sp for world_us, in this case program can dump but ff7.exe error!! Fatal error...

What's the possible solution? Not exist alternative system for edit somes texts? In White chocobo can edit 95% of translations need, but 5% (texts of tresours for new object name) can't!!! It's 50/100 objects max, the mod is "stopped" for this problem...I wait help, thanks.

With path 1.03b spanish run the program touphscript!!!
 
But ff7.exe can't run :(

Try with this path in english and spanish version but lnothing execute game :(

Hello!!! I have a hard problem in my mod ff7 PC 1.02 spanish version, in other post of Loveless can't reply for this comment, for this create new topic...Really problem is can't edit name of treasures or objects!!!

For example in comence new game I want edit "Plumaje Fénix" for "Cola de Fénix" (rename to name object in spanish of FF8) but not apply changes!!

I watch in this case of left file text not activated, not have colour...Understand can't edit this but, it's normal??? See the other's text objects/treasures/armours also not activated!!!Can't edit!!!!!!!!!!!! And I edit names of all with teioh objets/magic/armours in my mod then it's essential can edit also text :(

It's problem for version spanish?

What's it's possible solution?

His story is pathetic, and he does not fit your party.  A big white blob.  We did try to like him and we don't.  Deal with it.  :P  I will upload the 2 FMV soon that remove him... though the dialogue in ending is meant for my new character.

Almost anybody/thing can be a good replacement for cait sith XD
Aeris is a good choice though; have you seen the Aeris Revival mod? Check it out, it at least lets you use Aeris :)
I dunno about swapping the entire field, battle & general role of these characters (though that would be great). ^^

Hello programers!!! ;)

I'm very novice, (me first post  :oops: ) are responsible of started a hack of Final Fantasy VII!!!Really for the profits of this page in addition to my experience in this game, my proposal is simple, a mod that keeps the FF Series classic style, but with some important adjustments. I'll explain some things I would add:

Modification of experience curve of the characters (for example: Aeris having having less HP and more MP, in general all the characters with more personality)

Modification of Enemies' attributes (Harder, and changing stolen objects, stats, etc)

Modification of Magics (change values, some magic effect changes (if allowed to fix translation types) Also modifying enemy skills)

Changing shops and weapon, rings, healing, etc items functions

Small modifications of limit breaks

Object modification

Graphical modifications (any mod of the page, if it really is possible)

Fixing the bad translation (I'm working on the Spanish version, their documentation is really paintful, I also want to add the unused text scripts)

Modification of the likelihood of theft and state changes

Music change to fidelula (but not understand how run xD)

Also other changes in construction

"Problems"

In general, thanks to some programs (specially WallMarket, Hojo, Teioh, Leviathan , White chocobo, Black Chocobo, Loveless..) I can modify the game without much trouble, but there is something that I find particular solution



Making up the limit break gauge to increase more slowly (by increasing difficulty I could see that damage is a priority too high, distorting the game that every fighter always have limited)

Apply changes to menu items (example item change potion to 200 pg, is apply in battle, But in restore menu unchanged, continued healing 100 pg)

Apply modifications of new items (example I changed Gyshal Greens to OmniFénix, it's apply in battle, But in select menu I can't keep my object)

This is the most important thing is not really like change, any help will be important


"Questions"

I'm sure you read the forum much, but I do not understand between "refined assembly" and I do not understand much English ...



Is possible to add new items or new magics without replacing with another?

Is possible to change the item boxes?

Is possible to change the abilities of enemies or discard them? (teioh works great, but it gave me failed results)

Is possible to add effects (like poison or zombie) to weapons?

I can apply somes changes in FF7 psx? First try in this but always can open with wallmarket fail........And other's

Is possible to make or change a script to revive Aeris? (lol, this is a joke xD )



To that end I started the mod with no major problems but I need to clarify certain concepts to follow for sure, finally I leave a file with the "animation ID" pictures, to probe with Wallmarket with some spells working (though some fail,this have...This 00 to 9F normally magic attacks enemies, and later much limit break and rares, and unused magic include somes summon xD!!), I hope to help someone, they are not perfect images but can serve as a guide to search something specific
