I don't get it... both major consoles look like dvd players... I guess there might be technical issues for other design styles, I cannot explain it otherwise... and they are all promoting "cloud" technology... gaming era has ended as we knew it...

I expect loads of initial problems with running AI and such through the cloud. With new technology comes a troubleshooting stage.

Watch Dogs is from the same makers of Assassin's Creed, so it's more so that than GTA.

I don't know I'm staying out of the next-gen console war til it really picks up and they figure out the failure rate. The launch with the 360 was just crap, what a 32% failure rate or something? Think the ps2 had like 5% and that was considered bad. I'm also iffy on how much they're focusing on this cloud stuff. What that means to me: always online gaming. If that's really the case it'll have a massive backlash. Being able to backup game saves and data would be cool, but having to do online authentication to start a game is not a good idea, and is drm overkill. KH3 and FFXV could be massive deciding factors, but they've been in development hell for a few years now.

If I remember correctly they never started on KH3.

That's what I was thinking too. KH3 was never known to be in development, and the E3 trailer looked to finally announce its development. It doesn't give a release date, or even a release year, but only says "In Development Now" so it's probably in very early stages. My guess is a release date will be given at next years E3, probably aiming at the 2014 holiday season.

Speaking of which I think I know what's going on here. KH3 is now in development which means FFXV is almost done so he teases KH3. While we wait for these titles they dangle FFX/FFX-2 and KH HD 1.5 and then soon after KH HD 2.5 boom shocka locka. Square Enix you sly dogs you.
