HI,
I have the steam version, i enter a usb stick with the name FF7DISC1, run ff7 converter, but after when i try to launch ff7.exe it telle me to insert disc game 1,2 or 3...

What if you run FF7 directly, not using 7H?
If you get the same error then, it is obviously not a 7H problem, it is a problem with the game convertor or your setup.

Check the LOADR and DLL_in folders. Is there a FF7anyCDv2.dll in them?

What a frustration, i just buy the game only for modding it, but i can't do anything because of this problem :/

Is there a file in the game folder called Multi.dll?
Go into the game folder and open ff7_opengl.cfg with Notepad. Does it have a line labeled load_library = Multi.dll in it?
Open regedit.exe and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Square Soft, Inc.\Final Fantasy VII. Is the DataDrive set to F:\?

It was on D, i change to F and it launch thx a lot !
It launch yes (when i double click on ff7.exe) but i have a black screen and nothing happen x) maybe i should reinstal all the game or there is something to do ?

You need to launch the game from 7th Heaven with the Launch Game button for the mods to work.
If there is still a black screen then there is a message that postprocessing failed to initialize, but it gets hidden behind the game window. Hit Enter on the black screen, and you should hear a beep sound followed by the game starting. To avoid this whenever launching the game, go into Workshop -> OpenGL driver configuration and uncheck the box for Postprocessing.
Also, your APP.log is showing you using Intel HD Graphics, which is going to have problems playing long hours of the game. You need to set your game to run on the GPU. If it's Nvidia, then go to the Nvidia Control Panel to do this. I don't know how to setup ATI graphics.

Well I try with 7th with the launch game button but i still get a black screen and get the same error, box for Postprocessing is already uncheck

Do you have another GPU or only the Intel onboard GPU? The driver has problems to run the main shader. Also disable PBO if you don't have/use a Nvidia card

I have a gforce nvidia too, but when i go in nvidia control panel i dońt find ff7 :/
That could explain my problem if my gforce is not activate for ff7?

I added it but it doesn't appear in the list of game in nvdia geforce experience, now i haven' t the black screen but automaticaly the error

Tried to re-instal all but of course i get the same error... If anyone have an idea, please post it i really want to mod the game this week :/

Look in the shaders folder and see if there is a file called main.vert.

Nevertheless the driver cannot find it. Something is clearly wrong. Perhaps you should post screenshots of the folders & config in case someone can spot the problem

Doesn't look like you disabled postproccessing. Either edit enable_postprocessing = off and SAVE or go to Workshop -> OpenGL driver configuration and uncheck Postprocessing and click OK.
What language is your OS?

About the language, my original ff7 steam is in french but i enter E when the game converter asked me press F for french or E for english
Anyway got the same error :((

No, OS means Operating System. I just wanted to know if your Windows 8.1 was a French install. Can you screenshot the error and post it here please.

About the ff7.exe, after pathing i just had a whiet file call ff7 with no icon, i renamed it ff7.exe, midgar's icon appear but nothing change

The error you posted earlier was this:
C:\FINAL FANTASY VII\/shaders/main.vert
But the screenshots show you have the game installed in C:\Games\SteamApps\Common\Final Fantasy VII.
It certainly won't work if the paths don't match.

Yuck, wrong thing to do. The Game Converter has already registered the movie path to be in C:\Games\SteamApps\common\Final Fantasy VII\data\movies, so moving it out of there will screw things up. You have two options (choose one, not both):
1. Keep the game in C:\Games\SteamApps\common\Final Fantasy VII and configure your Workshop -> Settings correctly...
- Library Location: C:\Games\SteamApps\common\Final Fantasy VII\mods\7th Heaven
- FF7 Exe: C:\Games\SteamApps\common\Final Fantasy VII\ff7.exe
- Aali Modpath: C:\Games\SteamApps\common\Final Fantasy VII\mods\Textures
- Movie Path: C:\Games\SteamApps\common\Final Fantasy VII\data\movies
If this requires you to copy the game back or reinstall completely, I don't know. This has honestly been such a mess that I wouldn't trust anything but a fresh start at this point.
2. Run the Game Converter and choose to unpatch (U). Then run it again and it should recognize the game in this new location you have it. After it's done patching, set up Workshop -> Settings to the correct paths.

That's the mod working with Aali's Driver. We can't turn those messages off, but they're nothing to worry about. They will only appear once and never again whenever you revisit an area with that kind of message.

Try to re instal but after instaling and launching ff7 game converter got this :

When i go in regedit can t find final fantasy vii folder, maybe that s why i get this error? ? Tried to press f5 nothing change

Fixed, i unstall all, using the remove keys, instal ff7 in a new folder (i called it Jeux), after give the administrator access in propriety for 7th game converter (i think that was the problem) and follow 7th heaven tutorial. All work perfectly i finaly got the same as this :

Excellent. There was no other help I could give because I saw it as a bad install on your part. Good to see you figured it out :)
Please be on the lookout for an update to the 7H Catalog soon. I'll be switching over the file format of the downloads, and it will require that you Uninstall all your mods and download the new format. This will also include updates to New Threat in the Gameplay - Difficulty and Story category.

I was stuck for a few hours trying to work out what I'd done wrong but this was the answer. Something as simple as running that in administrator mode.

You need to check your drive letter that's set for FF7DISC1. Either the ISO isn't mounted anymore, or you don't have the drive renamed to FF7DISC1.

I've checked that, that doesn't seem to be it, what I'm gonna do is start the whole process again, what I didn't notice is when I converted the game I didn't get the option to put to system or non system folder it just did it unless that's because i installed steam altogether to a different folder not in program files im not sure, it did work for a short time though so I don't know if it is anythin to do with that
