Wow! Finally. Kula_wende and I successfully communicated in English!!!Cloud, Yuffie, Bahamuth and Ifrit. Am I correct?yup
The party escapes on Highwind. Tifa is knocked unconcious in the escape, Barret is caught as he tries to escape with the unconscious Tifa, and the both of them are taken to Junon. The rest of AVALANCHE are assumed to have escaped on their own, but how is not detailed.Actually, this assertion is wrong. The escape IS well-explained in details, but only if you have Tifa inquire about it. There is a repair guy in the Highwind who's busy but is more than eager to tell Tifa the details.
It doesn't really supercede FF7Music, it just supplements it.Exactly. I did mean what you said. (Although, I considered it as "it does not render obsolete, it supersedes.") Note that the #8.1 is also a supplementary package.
Not only that, but I've gotten more posts in my thread asking for help with problems than I have from people who said it worked, so I think I may have made a mistake or left something out.I'm using your package without any problem, so you didn't do anything wrong.
As for 8.2, ff7 lessdebug, my package doesn't do anything of that sort.Really? But I'm not receiving any debug data either. Then what has cut the debug? Aali's custom driver?
YAMP is still very useful, even if a few parts of it have been made obsolete.
- Aali's customer drivers supersedes True Motion 2, Upside Down FMV cutscene, High-Res Patch(#2), parts of YAMP(#3) and Jedwin Chocobo Patch.
Lifestream? Never heard of it.Sorry. Was it Highwind? (No, I guess it is taken?) Palmer? (No, you said you don't like it?) I think you said you liked Lifestream? Nevermind, though. (Silly me, I even downloaded it and give feedback. How can I forget...)
This is going to sound harsher than I intend it to, but have you ever been to school and the teacher says to the class "Now, who would like to write the answer to number 10 on the board?" You wouldn't raise your hand to say you don't want to. And you definitely wouldn't start condemning (number 10) it like it is somehow beneath you.Thanks for your considerable comment. Please pay attention to the fact that a school is much different than a forum: In school, your duty is to answer question Number 10 but in a forum, your duty is to contribute. I do differently in school and forum because I have different obligations towards them.
An open condemnation of the project, stating that it threatens the FF7 that you love. Now, you're trying to defend yourself, claiming that your opinion was called for. No one ever asked for destructive criticism.Is that so?
If you want for us to act like civilized people, your best bet would have been not to cause a disturbance here to start with.Please forgive me my friend, but did I unwittingly break any of the forum's rules? I was under the impression that I was simply expressing an opinion, although one that is contrary to others. If I did, please let me know; I'll apologize and will not commit it again.
I am sorry for being harsh, but that cynical side of me makes me think that you are looking for attention.Your cynical side is but only slightly wrong. As a matter of fact what I seek is participating in discussions and having positive effects which is the goal of the forums. Your cynical side is not wrong but in respect to the fact that in a forum (especially one like this) gaining attention is not only good but also one of the ultimate goals. If it was not so, you people would have never posted detailed news about the progress of your mod. Neither your cynical side nor your logical one can deny that "Game Tweaking" subforum of this forum is full of topics and threads which serve no purpose but to attract the appreciation of the topic creator -- especially this thread. (Now don't let your cynical side make you believe that I'm trying to steal the attention which I do not deserve here, because I'm not.)
And you posted this, why? You could have easily just ignored everything that was said and just let everyone not know your unimportant opinion.With all due respect, please note that the thread title reads: "is anyone interested?" which means my opinion as a forum member is being inquired.
I agree. I had a lot of this on my own translating thread. At the end of the day like said 1000 times, if someone doesnt like the idea they just don't install the mod.Well, the solution is simple my friend: If you do not tolerate opposing opinions, do not ask for it in your own threads. (You needn't explicitly express you lack of interest in hearing opposing opinion; just do not ask for any.)
Yeah I think his Cloud kicks ass, personally!That's exactly the problem. This Cloud is so serious and dangerous-looking that is no longer suitable for the scene in which he has to choose between "Wark!" and "Wark Wark!" as a reply to an enthusiastic Chocobo! (That was one funny scene.) Cloud matures in the game. This Cloud is already too mature, too "max pain"-like.
for tifa try to search in my past post in this thread and you will see it closelyI said "Close-ups". You have never posted close-ups from them. But if you can't... well... thank you anyways., and for barret there is no changes on him but only his jacket and for now im trying to remodel him and also sephi, cloud in soldier uniform, red13, caith sith etc etc.. are in progress so you guys just wait until i finish it and i will post screenshots
Aail's custom graphics driverAfter having installed Aali's driver and having opened the ff7_opengl.cfg file, search for this section:What is that
Can you explain or post a link. I would like to play FF7 in 1440x900
window_size_x = 1280
window_size_y = 960
preserve_aspect = true
fullscreen = true
Change window_size_x and windows_size_y to the screen resolution that you like. In this example, I have changed mine to 1280x960.Oh, i had no idea on the drag and drop. New thing to useDrag and drop was around for 18 years now and you had no idea? Is that a joke? If it is then :LOL: If it is not, then get this: Most Microsoft and Adobe products work with drag and drop. Usually, dragging and dropping a file into the window or icon of a program like Notepad, Paint, Word, Photoshop, etc. opens the files. Since I nearly always have a Word or Notepad open, I usually just drag and drop .cfg file, rather than (1) right-clicking the file, (2) clicking Open With..., (3) Clicking "Let me select[~snip~]", (4) searching for Notepad, (5) clicking OK; Oooooooh, that's a lot of clicking!!!
