Like the Red XIII preview, while I am less convinced by Barret's.

Still following your progress here with great interest, FF7GBIKE!

Keep up the excellent work.
Thanks!! It's sometimes difficult to stay motivated when working for a long time, but knowing that there are a few people looking forward to this work makes me want to try a little harder!

Cait Sith is completed!
Next up is Vincent! I think I'll be obsessed with FF7 Rebirth for a while when it comes out, so I want to finish Vincent by then! !

Red 13 has been completed.
Since there was no weapon modeling, it was quick to complete.

This is a comparison with the avatar image I drew myself.
It took me quite a while to draw the illustration.

Currently, I'm working on making Aerith's weapons, which I've been putting off.

Once that's done, I'll make Cait Sith.
Cait Sith is also a character that can be easily created, but since you have to draw him from an avatar illustration, the time it takes to draw him is a bit of a hassle...

But I'll try my best

Now that the Barret is complete, I will release it.
The original design had a fairly deformed body shape, so we paid the most attention to modifying Barrett's body shape.

Many of the weapons came in a wide variety of shapes, and it took much more time than I imagined.

To be honest, I feel like I managed to make it all the way to release.

Let me explain a little bit about what I'm currently working on.
Currently modeling Red 13. I drew an avatar image just in case.
Red 13 has no weapon modeling, so it will probably be completed the earliest...

Really like your, models!
Thank you! What I'm aiming for with this model is an atmosphere somewhere between the original and the remake, and I've been making a lot of them and am finally getting the feel for it!
I was skeptical about this when I first saw Cloud, but this is really coming together!  Excellent work!
Thank you!
I'm currently making Barret's weapon!
I think we will be able to distribute the barret soon!
As for other characters, I drew new illustrations for those that didn't have illustrations. The rough illustrations are hand-drawn, but they are complete.

xD Poor Aeris, the game wants her underground ASAP!
I guess its an animation problem, delete the rvda files in the .IRO,  that should work O_o
Well, the files **da you dont need to put it in the .IRO (if you put it maybe could cause incompatibilities with the 60 FPS mod :/)
EDIT: For the installer, are you uploading it compressed as ,for example .rar ,right?

Oh, Aerith no longer dives into the ground!
thank you!

Originally, when using 7th Heaven, the speed of the battle animation was a bit strange, but I finally found the cause!

I re-linked the iro data from which the da file was deleted to the top again.

I uploaded the installer to dopbox in the form of ZIP?
It's a state where the page can be seen or not depending on the browser and the page freezes.

In my PC environment, if I use 7th Heaven, Aerith will go to the ground. :|

The iro data for 7th Heaven has been updated and uploaded
I'm curious if other people will use it and see if Aerith will dive on the ground.

It may be a problem of the file hosting site that the installer cannot be uploaded, so I will try it on another site at a later date.

Hey Aerith! That's the ground! No holes! ;D

Thank you for letting me know how to update the file.
I've been busy lately and haven't had much time.

However, since Aerith is complete, I will put off the creation of the weapon and add Aerith for the time being.

7th heaven was able to be installed, but what, Aerith is going into the ground!

I would like to know if the same thing happens in other environments.

Then when I created the lgp file and installed it, Aerith didn't go into the ground. I was a little relieved.

Finally, I installed it for Steam, but the Steam version is not sold in Japan, so I can't confirm the installation.

Also, the other problem is that I uploaded the zipped installer, but for some reason the link didn't work.
I don't understand why I can't download.

It would be great if you could let me know if it works!

Once Aerith's weapons are finished, Barrett will be next!

thank you! !
It was a part that I was worried about so far, so I was at a loss, so it was really helpful. :-D
When I saw the folder structure of iro., I was surprised that it was completely different from the one I made.
I was really surprised that the installer you made yourself was also very well done.
I would like to make full use of it when updating data and releasing data.

I made a quick test with both files ,and should work.

oh!
Just seeing your mods installed alongside other  mods is exciting!
wonderful!
EDIT: Also, i put your model of Cloud to modify the model of Cloud in the final battle with Sephiroth. Let me know when you download the files to remove them:/
oh i forgot. Only the final battle in the original version used a slightly elaborated model.
I forgot to think that I should do it later. Instead, it seems that he took the trouble to add the data, which was rather helpful. thank you.

P.S. As for the current data, only the Ultima Weapon has a small weapon size.
It was difficult to adjust the size of the weapon while checking the transparency of the blade, so I checked with an approximate size and forgot to correct the size when uploading it, so I uploaded it as it was.

Congratulations on your first official release, FF/GBIKE!

I see lots of love in the models you created.

Please keep up the good work there!
thank you!
It took a lot of time, including the creation period, but I managed to release it!
It's still a prototype, and Cloud's weapons and the details of the textures of some models are rough, but I'm glad I managed to release it.
.Reflected? Like the model was inverted?Weird.
Well if you want i can prepare you an .IRO ,and always you want you can extract the files and modify them every time you want to add more models.
Also , maybe i can help you with an installer for non 7th heaven FF7. If i have time i will share something for that.
yes. I tried many things,
In the place of "my mod", the file name attached to the self-made iro. and the preview image are displayed, but when you start it, the battle model is in a vanilla state and the installation fails. :-(

Other mods were all successful after introducing various UIs, battles, field models, etc.

I'm replying while using a translation site, so I'm sorry if I misunderstood the meaning.

If I provide all the data I need, would you be willing to help me create the data for upload instead?

In the past few months, I've been researching how to create files, and I've been struggling with making the blade part of the Ultima weapon transparent, so the modeling work hasn't progressed.

If you can help me with the data creation part for distribution
It is very helpful and I would like to request

thank you!
I want many people to enjoy it, so I want to upload it in various formats.
I live in Japan, so I can't play 7th heaven in Japanese, but I had it installed on my PC quite some time ago.
When I tried to create an iro format file and introduced it earlier, Cloud was reflected, but Tifa and Yuffie were not reflected... :-\
Hmm, I'll try a few different things, but it's an area I'm not good at... :'(
I'll try to do my best

thank you!
Currently, Cloud, Tifa, and Yuffie
Almost completed.

The concern is the increased polygon count, as mentioned above.
In particular, Yuffie, who has many accessories, has increased considerably.

If you are doing convincing modeling, the amount of data will inevitably increase.

In my environment, there is currently no change in the speed of the game itself when these three characters are added, but I feel that it is slow when opening the menu screen.

I would like to know if the same phenomenon occurs on other people's PC environments, so I'm thinking of distributing Tifa and Yuffie as a beta.

However, in the final version, it may be possible to work on low-poly.

So I will add Tifa and Yuffie!

P.S. Tifa and Yuffie have been added!

« on: 2023-07-06 13:08:42 »

Hello everyone.

In order to reproduce the design of Mr. Tetsuya Nomura's G bike in a 3D model,
I have been making
Not all characters are complete yet.

Beta release in phases here.

Cloud has some weapons incomplete.
Also, since this is my first time creating and releasing mods, there may be some flaws.

When it comes to 3D models, I don't know the optimal number of polygons, so
The data may be a little larger, but that's just a guess.
I would like everyone to use it anyway and let me know what you think.

Thank you very much for your support.

hello!
I'm glad that the cloud update got a good response

Actually, the creation of Ultima Weapon of Cloud's weapon does not go well

Specifically, the blade part cannot be translucent. Lost quite a bit of time there and as a result I haven't found a solution yet

I gave up on the blade part of the Ultima Weapon.

It would be very helpful if someone could tell me if they know a solution.

At this rate, it looks like the creation of the other characters will never end,
so I've been working on Aerith's illustration for about a week now.

It's still in progress, but once the illustration is complete, I'll use this illustration as a base for modeling.

It's been a long time, everyone.

I'm still working on it, but it's going to take time because I've been taking time for the details.

As of now, Cloud, Tifa, and Yuffie are mostly completed.

There are many types of weapons, so it will take more time than you think.

Also, the thing that I couldn't understand for a long time was Cloud's face.
I couldn't reproduce the goodness of Tetsuya Nomura's illustration, so I remade it.

Here are just a few of the edited

Here are some images of the weapons.

As you can see,
Weapon textures have only been drawn roughly.
I plan to finish it properly at some point.

Yuffie's weapon textures, which had a small number of weapons, have already been completed

It's taking a lot of time at the moment, so I'd like to release these three bodies on a trial basis as originally planned, and hear everyone's impressions, but I don't know the best way to release them.

Regarding the release method, I was very grateful that orichalcon announced that it would guide me before, but I don't know if there is a problem or if it is related to the settings, but the message cannot be sent.

I hope you see this post and respond!

Here's Yuffie's progress.

A character with a lot of equipment, like Yuffie, takes a long time.

If there are many parts, drawing the reflected light on each with a texture is unexpectedly troublesome and takes time.

Aerith doesn't wear a lot of accessories, so modeling should be quick.
but,
I have to draw from the illustration, so I'm a little worried.

Well, I'm planning to draw it based on CCFF7's illustration, so I'm not too worried about the face.

Please wait for further information.

>I really like what you are doing, FF7GBIKE but I have a suggestion about Cloud's model.

>While in theory the many different hues of blue should look good, I think that it does not translate well in the actual game, looking at the posted screenshots. I think that the model would benefit substantially from more uniformity in the color palette of Cloud's clothes.

>Cheers!

↑ ah I see

Certainly, as you say, Cloud's clothes don't look blue enough.

Once again, I think I'll review the texture of Cloud's clothes

Thank you for your feedback

>I love your work. One tiny suggestion: i would make the models not to shiny like car painting. You should stick to the Vanilla Art, everything else will never harmonize with backgrounds etc. But the models itself are stunning!!!

↑ Indeed, as you say, the textures are drawn with light sources and shadows from the beginning to reproduce the illustration.

And in the shadows, specifically on the character's back side, I also drew the environmental port reflected from the ground.

So whether the background is a cave or outside,
The characters are drawn with a certain amount of light and shadow, so it's a little unnatural.
Actually, I felt that way too.

However, I think this method is the best way to reproduce the G-BIKE illustration as it is on the model.

However, I understand your opinion, so I may eventually make a version without shadows.

Report current progress.

I was worried about what to do with Cloud and Yuffie's weapons.
I decided to play around with it a bit myself.

Since there is no need to play around with weapons that much,
Because it doesn't take too much time.

Yuffie's modeling is better than I thought
Is difficult.

I'm still struggling because I don't have a picture from the front that I can refer to.

The polygon model is almost complete.

However, as you can see, the texture is still lacking in hair.

This is an image compared to the illustration.

Yuffie has a unique facial expression, so I struggled to bring it closer to the picture.

It's really hard to draw shadows on textures.

It's quite troublesome.
This is because you have to consider the direction of the light source.

Texture shading has not yet been created for the legs.

So Yuffie as a whole is 70% complete.
Weapons Yuffie is still untouched.

Cloud is just before texture production.

Please wait for further information.
I want to complete it as soon as possible, so I spend a lot of time on this policy even on holidays!

Hi everyone
Report the progress of work so far
I reflected Tifa in the game and tested it.
Since it is difficult to process the skirt, it seems necessary to correct it
The model itself doesn't look bad.

Tifa's expression has been slightly modified,
Should I fix it a little more?
There is no big change even if I fine-tune it, but I'm curious.

As I expected, Tifa finished faster than Cloud.
But another problem occurred.

I never thought that the graphic of Tifa's weapon would be shared with the right hand model.
Thanks to you, my work has increased. I'm still working on it...

>this looks really good - and it an excellent idea, looks like an anime version of Cloud

>if you need help with releasing the mod - if nothing else, you can message me and i'll walk you through it

Thank you very much.
at that time please

It will take many more months to complete all the characters, so as I said before, I would like to release a prototype version after completing a few.

For the time being, I plan to make Yuffie after Tifa,
I would like to release Yuffie once and have everyone play it.

Posted by: obesebear

>Looks really cool!

Thank you very much.

Well then, I'll reveal Tifa's progress

Modeling is almost complete.
As expected, it was finished earlier than Cloud, but it took time to model the detailed parts.

For the lower body, I used an illustration from Dissidia as a reference, just like Cloud.
The shoes are also modeled based on the illustrations of Dissidia, and the textures are also used as a reference.

I was particular about modeling the legs.
The legs in the original are simple, but I made them thicker to match the taste of the G-bike illustration.

And my legs are getting longer. Since the upper body is smaller than the original model, the ratio of the legs is relatively increased.

Next is the introduction of the upper body.

Since there is no picture of the front, I still had trouble with the face.
This image is still not perfect
It's almost finished, but...

Tifa's expression is a little gentler in the illustration, so I'd like to fix the texture and make it even closer to the illustration.

As you can see, the texture of the hair is still incomplete. It was difficult to draw, so it was postponed ...

Illustration and model comparison.
After all, the expression is a little different, so I want to fix it, but this is quite difficult.

Well, as for the expression, Cloud was more dissatisfied
Tifa is still good though.

After that, the reflection of the ambient light is drawn on the texture as a whole.

And when Tifa is completed, I will make Yuffie.
Yuffie will also receive a follow-up report, so please look forward to it!

I like your model, it's beautiful and remind me of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure somehow

Thank you
It reminds me of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Also, somehow it looks like Lightning from FF13.

>Problem is it's stand out too much and not blend well in the game's environment. Which are normal when there are different art style between playable characters, NPC, monsters, vehicles and backgrounds.

I agree.
Especially FF7 monsters have almost no texture,
The sense of incongruity is amazing when lined up with this model.

If I have the time and space, I'd like to add some work to the monsters as well...

Posted by: Salk

>Good job!

Very interesting style.

thank you!
As for the current progress, Cloud's texture has been slightly modified, and the shading on the face has been softened a bit.

And now I'm working on Tifa.
After all, it takes time to make the front face.

I don't know if there are any requests, but I'm thinking of releasing it when some models are completed.
I don't know how to do it, so I would appreciate it if you could teach me at that time.

WIP / Re: New mods model FF7 GBIKE designed by Mr. Nomura
« on: 2022-09-27 14:26:59 »

Since the illustration of Gbaike is only drawn on the upper body,
For the lower body, I used my imagination and an illustration from Dissidia as a reference.
Originally, the illustration drawn by Mr. Nomura,
Very few are drawn from the front. Therefore, it took a lot of trial and error to model the front angle of the face while making the most of the atmosphere of the illustration.
I think that Cloud's handsome and androgynous eyes have managed to reach a decent degree of perfection, but I feel that there is still a step to go.

The part where the shadow part shines bluish-white due to the reflection of the ambient light is like an illustration.
Just like the popular two-dimensional painting (二次元塗り)that makes a 3D character figure look like an anime character, I purposely fixed the light source and made it look like the illustration shows shadows and reflections behind it.

After some trial and error, I tried to introduce this model into the game.

I didn't think it would be so difficult to match the size of each part.

Looking at it again, I feel like my arms are too thick. I also feel that the texture of the right arm is too realistic. It may be better to use a simpler coloring method to make it look like an illustration or two-dimensional.

Perhaps because the shadows of the texture of the face are too strong,
The faces of the in-game models look a little more realistic.

I wonder if textures with a little more shading would make it look more like an illustration?

It was a shock when I found out that the contour lines added with modifiers during modeling were not displayed in-game!

Looking at it from this angle, I think the ambient light is a little too conspicuous.
However, I feel that two-dimensional painting is not overdoing it.
Whether this is good or not, I think this is a part where people can tell their preferences.

For the time being, Cloud was reflected in the game.
However, it is more difficult than I thought to reproduce the illustration of the G bike, which is halfway between the illustration and the real thing.
Especially the lower part of the body is difficult because it is supplemented by imagination.

As I wrote before, Tifa has a simpler outfit than Cloud, so I want to finish it faster than Cloud!

thank you!
I'm glad you got a response!
The cloud is almost finished, but it took some time.
It was a work using blender that I'm not used to, but it was very helpful in terms of UV because it was based on nino's model.

However, most of the modeling took time because it was touched up.

Also, data diversion is not applicable, so I had a hard time there as well.
In the case of Tifa, I think that there will be more parts to work on the UV surface by myself than Cloud.

However, the clothes and hairstyle are simpler than Cloud, so it seems that the work will be completed quickly.

I would like to post the image of the cloud here at a later date
And I'd love to hear other people's impressions
