Would there be any chance of somehow merging the instruments and vocals from the lb2.SF2 (the One Winged Angel stuffs and whatever else) into a unified FF7.sf2? Especially since most SoundFont devices don't auto-load SoundFonts like the old AWE cards used to do. Also loading both SoundFonts lb2.SF2 on top of FF7.sf2 overwrites instruments normally used, the woodblock for example, so it isn't just a simple merge. Heck there might be some better versions of the instruments from lb2.SF2 that could replace the FF7.sf2.

Yes this is a massive grave dig, but it seems to be only relevant place.

I've been interested in both trying out for a voice role and the benefit helping new people into a game this old.

Unfortunately I never fully beaten the game out of ignorance, having a crappy PC when I bought it at the time and have watched half of the game discs stabbed by a pair of scissors in front of my eyes (never got the first game disc). Now seeing the "rough" edges of an aged game and just getting distracted by the next shiny game doesn't help, but I'm finally getting through this game.

As for the trying out for a voice role, I'll just have to see when the time comes.

Wow, there are so many wrong things here. First you are telling people to ILLEGALLY (in almost ALL countries) download the game when they could go to a used game shop and buy their own copy. If they can't find it, they are out of luck. You link to a unofficial mirror for ePSXe which I bet has a illegal copy of the PS BIOS. Poorly written instructions, and the screen shot is of pSX not ePSXe which will add some confusion to your unclear instructions. Also I don't think there was any need of this post in the first place.

I think the readme says something about it, but to fix it you need to enable Expert Mode and make the adjustments. Controls for Expert Mode is in the readme as well.

Is it possible to put the loader on a different sever (such as Mediafire) for me?

Rapidshare is being a pain.

ff8_launcher_v1.31.rar Here's a temp mirror until magixts says otherwise. It's permanent since its only a US Quarter to keep it there almost forever. Donated 20 bucks so I have a lot of tokens at hostfile.org  :-P .

EDIT: PS: This Launcher is the best.

AVG is reporting the Patcher (not the second 1280x1024 patcher) as infected with a virus. I haven't updated in a while (no home connection yet) nor checked if it has been cleared up at AVG support, but I managed by temporarily disabling resident shield to patch.

Well [GLG] Sirius,I'm not going to switch cards for one game, so I guess I'll live with it.

Well is there any possible way to fix this? (I don't want to use Software Mode) or is there no hope?

I only have the High Res Patch Installed, on Windows Vista, ATI Readon x700, 2.0 GHz Celeron. I've been using the nvidea TNT fix since I cant just use HW Accel. with out one of the fixes on.  I've tried Alternate Pixel Center but that only fixed a few things.
