I'm thinking in using Extreme anyway

Here's my plan:
1. get lots of cards (first card queen, then regular players, than CC Group).
2. Get all the draw points I can before any battle
3. Get Silence/Sleep from Training Center (draw 1 and run!)
4. Still try to get some more magic that way (usually blizzards or blizzaga if monters are high LV?)
5. Defeat the most weak monster in FF8 - Red Bat (6 HP*100 = 600 HP? in extreme?)
6. Try to get Quezacotl's "Card" and "Card Mod"

Once I get 'Card Mod', game is done!

Break-up limit patch and hardcore patch can be installed both – these patches modify different data

Nice to know.

Does 'Extreme' means really extreme? Can you briefly describe the level differences for me?

I released alpha version (for English version of the game), which has some bugs. Most important bug is that you can't draw GF's from bosses. Version 1.0 will be soon available.

PS. To win with Omega Weapon you will need even 3 hours on Extreme difficulty (without using "The End", of course)

Hi there. This is my first post here.

I was just wondering...
Since some guys here are getting the 9999 limit changed to 32767(?), maybe...

What about a FF8 hard edition? (like enemies are more 50% LV than characters, more HP for them, very tough bosses)

I don't play FF8 for a long time, but for what I remember, it was a very easy game for me. I was able to get Lion Heart on Disc1 (needed 20 Elnoyle Cards, Lv20 chars and Luck!)

Please tell me that this is possible! This is my favorite game ever, I miss it...
