Yeah, I imagine I'm the one who sees this most seriously, since I'm the one paying
And I've gotten tired of having the site (and all things associated with it, like my mail account) unusable this often. Maybe the smartest thing to do is change hosts every year, to make sure you're with the best. Anyway, it looks like I'll be going with this other host I've found, they provide almost the same features but have a better reputation at it.
Here's more on the new deal, anyway:
- Web space: 50% more (meaning I can disable auto-pruning of Unrelated)
- Bandwidth limit: unchanged at 10GB / month (the site & forums so far haven't climbed above 2GB / month)
- No dedicated IP, so the site will be completely dependent on the domain name for accessing
- Speed: unknown, but should be at least as good as current
- Uptime: definite improvement over current
Oh, and I haven't decided on anything yet. It just looks very tempting to go this way, especially since right now I'm paying a lot of money for little service...
