I'm still debating whether or not to buy it. Since a new purchase comes with a free month, I suppose I'm only really out $30 if I decide I don't like it, no different from buying any other downloadable game at the same price point.

That'd be dandy if I played the 1.0, but I didn't. I bet a fair few people here did though, this site's demographic does tend to skew toward "people who buy and play Final Fantasy games". I wonder why.

I think my Legacy server is Masamune, but it's been too long to remember. I'm not sure we're going to get a large crowd from Qhimm. The people here tend to stick with the older "classic" Final Fantasy games (don't hurt me with words if I'm mistaken about that).

Lol well I also got some people from the other game (TOR) so we should have more than just Qhimm.  Also I have a vent server we will use.  I'll be using it for both games as I have people from that game that come on.  Mine is Balmung I think.  I'll have to recheck my server listings.  Do they have transfers yet?  I wouldn't think at the very start however there are alot of people who just dropped in like I did from 1.0.  Also I like how they kept the class and weapon switch.  Though I think the abilities shared between them all is very limited now.  However I probably train them all but aiming for Dragoon and i'm glad that I only need two classes at a certain level.  Funny though one of my characters is in a legacy server and yet I don't think I ever got an email about a code or anything.  Did you get one EQ2Alyza?

Call me shallow... but I'm stuck with Saint's Row IV atm even if I have The realm reborn for free with the first XIV... I wanna play sometime though.

You might want to start now because we play for free until the 9th of September.  Well bad news seems all NA servers are full so we'll have to hold off.  All mine are in the Balmung legacy or Hyperion legacy.  If you want when the restrictions get lifted you could make a character in one of those.  Preferably Hyperion because that one i'll be more invested in.

No need they have the free client download for 1.0 players.  Just google it and you'll find it.

No, not yet. I'm currently lvl 15 Arcanist. I plan to do Scholar after lvl 30.

Cool got almost half way to 30 on my lancer then I have to work on pug till 15 so yeah.  I plan on leveling all the classes atleast on this one guy.
