SEPHIROTH PATCH COMPLETING!
« on: 2005-12-14 03:12:32 »
OK! I am working on a patch (like the one already mentiond in qhimm (SOMEWHERE!)) But this one will go more complete. The battle figures will be swapped, all mentions of Sephiroth will be changed to Cloud and at the beggining your name CAN be Sephiroth and the field model will at least have its hair. BUT the battle model is NOT programmed for clouds limit breaks "EX: if you use OMNISLASH The model does nothing and you see no damage but if you killed it, it WILL dissapear. (I MIGHT make new animation files to corrospond w/ limits or i might just let him use SUPERNOVA as a limit. WORK IN PROGRESS...

But i need a programmer here to take the files and EXE it ( make it an executable like REUNION )

PS: Some mod make this a poll on wheather they like it or not. And delete this PS.

Im not sure you you intend to make Supernova a working command, as AFAIK its an automated.

You are not making a seph character, you are just swapping the modals round (I think)

After reading your other topi, it seems you have no grasp on what we have completed so far.

Animations have not been "decoded" (again, from what I remember, ive not beed here much)

To make your own, you would first need to decode them.

Let's just see what you can do. I'm sure there will be someone willing to help if he sees your patch in action.

http://forums.qhimm.com/viewtopic.php?t=4318

The file format is mostly understood, the almost being the scripts/triggers attached to animations.
But when it comes to just moving a model and making a basic non-event-triggering animation, it is fully understood in terms of both how to decode and encode.

By triggers I mean animations that trigger other animations or cause damage numbers to be printed on the screen.

So you can’t make an Omnislash for Sephiroth that prints damage results, but you can make him go through the motions.

An editor could be made that allows you to copy the movements from Cloud’s animation and then add the extra bones for Sephiroth’s hair, then plug the resulting animation back into the game.

Curious thing, that.

Not only are you interested in turning ButBut's patch into a "legal" patch (what the heck is that, anyway?), you also type your username in ALL CAPS, just like ButBut's buddy ALPHA_WOLF1 (or was that the same person, I can't remember all his alter egos anymore) and when a trace to ButBut's IP ended up in Oklahoma City, yours has the second to last node in Oklahoma City. Or to be more specific, the second to last node in both your traceroutes is the very same Southwestern Bell's router.

All this is of course just a coincidence? :-?

Wow.  Should change that English Professor tag to Sad Jari: Cyber-Sleuth!
(This is the part where you say it was "elementary.")

If that is but2002, we're gonna have to chase him out with pitchforks and torches.  I've never seen anyone this persistant.  Don't forget goth_munkey.  Whatever happened to "understanding" if you were banned again in that "Apologies" topic you created?

Honestly, I don't know if it's him, especially since the traceroute's last node is quite far - in different state altogether (the last hop is pretty long). But I'm almost sure that there is much more solid connection than "i was a guest on this forum for 5 months now".

Innocent until proven guilty.  Gotcha, but you still argue a good case.  Maybe you should take up a law practice.  Jari and Associates  :)

In general, Rubicant and But2002 were quite similar, however, Rubicant contributed more and even helped make a FFVII music file. I believe he was banned for the 666,000 counter and using a porn graphic for his avatar, but I could be wrong. But2002 pissed everyone off with his not searching and running around starting stupid polls. Both have joined back and have been rejected. There is a way to see if But2002 and VINCENTVAL is the same person, by checking the logs of these forums and checking if VINCENTVAL was here, unless if the logs were destroyed...
Then we just decide if we want someone who started a poll on a computer product that seems more like an ad than a post, similar to But's profile, containing "www.allgamingnetwork.co.nr". We have many "Qhimmaholics" here, eh?
