It looks like it is just the ninostyle battle models.and ninostyle hd field models.

There is 5 iro's in the pack and the other 3 iro's are ok.

iropngdds version is 1.25 64bits.

for menu stuff it can massively increase iro size but will compress back down with 7zip for distribution.

It seems on ninostyle model pack from nexusmods, this converts the preview images, I did see a log showing mipmap failures, and in the log it mentionedit though they were unused, but they are used, in the png iro they show up in configure box, on the dds iro they missing.

This is due to the hext modification of the code, in your OS you need to disable DEP protection for ff7.exe.

By default this is "not" enabled, so you or a program has changed it on your system.

Download again, I just put the old parameters back in from last week, the changes I did for NT mansion have had too many unintended side affects so those have been rolled back.

I will version bump this tomorrow so everyone gets an new version in 7h.

it patches the menu UI, but patches more than it needs to.

I will do a 7h patch of this without the excess UI patching.

Does anybody know tools to extract some textures correct?
I tried TexTool, Image2Tex, Reunion, Aali, FFnx possibilities to extract textures - all of them return corrupted colors for some textures.
For example coloa.tex looks like this:


Please, help.

I use omega, where you can specify the palette id, not sure if it still has a working download link, if you cant find one let me know.

for me I just plugged in the controller and it worked as is.  it may not be recognised as a ds4 controller but does function in the game.  Albeit with different mappings to xbox controllers.

Fireflew If you want the original menu textures, spacing etc. but with full screen battle rendering, The FFNX driver by trueodin now has that as a built in feature.

Information here, it has a flag to move the battle UI to bottom.

so you can't eliminate the black bar outside the battle?

eliminate no, not without stretching, it can be made somewhat more pleasant by centering the screen, but I dont know how to do that on the new driver currently as it does require driver changes not just exe patching.

For the buttons thing, is just adding it to the flevel text enough to suffice? How do the shoulder/d-pad/select/start buttons work?

Edit: I checked the chunks within the ESUI Controller Addon with a hex editor and got a list of (most) of the button codes being used:

98 OK
95 Cancel
97 Menu
BE Up
BF Down
93 Left
94 Right
99 L1
9A R1
81 Select
82 Start

In the makou tool's text editor, it has a shortcut for adding the action buttons (Circle, etc.) like this: {CIRCLE} which gets translated into the relevant hex code (0x98 in this case). But there's no listing option in the tool for the shoulders/d-pad/select/start buttons. How did you add them in?

yep just replace [ok] etc. with button variables, I will send you some info.

I just updated Fewtch's Remake version of ESUI and it's no longer changing the avatars. The start menu image is still changing though. Is that intentional?

Check for an update, see if there is an option now for the start menu bg.

PSN exclusivity themes are notorious for not been released on the store.

Looks like you have to buy Batchelor's noodles to get this theme in the UK.
If that isnt enough exclusivity, you also have to buy it from Tesco, they have exclusive supply of the promotional packs.

In the US, butterfinger is doing a DLC giveaway.  So I just bought $10 worth of candy bars to get the 5 different DLCs :P

This is awful news if these DLC are not available to buy, SE seem to have lost the plot if they slicing the game up to give away with exclusivity promotions.

He set it to gameplay to make sure the auto ordering keeps it above ESUI.  In the next public build of 7h, he will be able to do that without changing the category.

I don't mean to suggest that these crashes were an issue with 7th Heaven, unab0mb.  It makes sense that injecting textures that are upscaled x4 into the cache would cause instability.  However, given that these high resolution textures both look great and are conveniently included in the QHIMM catalog, I am opting to continue using them and dealing with the consequence of occasional crashes.

some of these textures are much more than a 4x increase in resolution.

Also today there will be another update for the controller addon, with hopefully final fixes.

Also the category for the controller addon will be changed. it's still the same as before it will conflict with flevel gameplay mods, but I will make it so its auto sorted lower priority in 7h, meaning the controller addon breaks instead of the gameplay mod.  If people have both loaded at once.

The game is a composite of several files, some of which it sounds like have changed while others haven't. The Potions being changed means that the kernel has patched (and likely the scene.bin as well). But it sounds like the flevel hasn't patched which is a serious issue. Starting a new game won't help either. 7h 2.0 seems to have a lot of issues that aren't being addressed; the hext not working reliably, NT being locked off from mod types it shouldn't be, driver crashes, etc. If they can't help you troubleshoot the issue then I would recommend going back to 7h 1.54 as the mods themselves are the same.


There is an issue in 7h that prevents flevel been processed from a too far down subfolder, , but that is an issue in 1.5 as well as 2.0, when I personally tested dec 30 NT 1.5 on 7h 2.0 (standalone iro, and gameplay), the flevel was definitely working, I had the custom field dialogs such as barret asking me about the music and the save points.

Hopefully this gets figured out as I love NT, and I love 7h as well.

If its got a different button mapping to psx in its programming, then I dont know, this is really just to support native psx and xbox controllers.
