quiet sound effects

recently today while I was playing my game all of the sudden my sound effects got extremely quiet
whereas they were working fine only an hour before I went to the configuration thing and tested the sound and found that when it tests sound effects for center everything is quiet where in left and right are fine this has actually happened several times but usually fixes when I restart the game or computer but I tried those and it didnt fix anything.....I can hear music fine. Has anyone else had this problem and know a solution>

I've had the same problem, except it did it from the get-go. What I had to do was go in-game to the Config menu and turn down the music to like 01-02 and then just turn my volume up. Maybe someone else here will have a better fix but for now, you can try this.
