Maximilian Dood is playing FFVII with some Mods and he is running Mods in 7th Heaven as well as 60 FPS Battle.
I tried to replicate it but couldn't.
Reunion isn't running 60 FPS (even though it says it's part of Reunion...?).

I could manage to run 60 FPS Battle once (patching LGP and copy pasting all files I need). I could even start it once via 7th Heaven after I patched everything, although it was very woobly as the Camera wasn't as fast to catch up to certain animations like Braver or Big Shot but at least it was running 60 FPS for Camera and 30 FPS for Motion.
Now the Game refuses to start whatsoever... *lol* I think it broke completely afterwards. xD

Is it even possible to get 60 FPS Battle and use 7th Heaven for only minor Mods like Music Replacement, Background switching as well as Charactermodel replacements?
Should I wait for Catalog 3.0 which should be coming out this month?

60fps mod is broken and will be until R06.

Do you've an ETA for R06 and will we be able to use 60 FPS without any additional tweaks coming with Reunion?

I have 60fps battles working with 7th heaven, let me check how I implemented it and I will reply with the info.

Note I own the 1997 disc version.  But you can use that exe with steam version so it will still be doable.

Ok I am using the animations mod from the official 7th heaven library, so download it, install it, activate it.
then make sure its correctly ordered, so its after field models and before battle models.
Select configure, and there is an option for "60 FPS Battles" I have it set to on and its how I am doing it.

The only glitch I am aware off is summon animations get a bit glitchy and thats it.  Its only a minor effect.

Ochu trainer should also work, but obviously thats not a set and forget it method.

The version from Reunion R05c will be in Catalog 3.0. There are some glitches with the summon textures and model movement (such as when you fight Rufus and he escapes by helicopter after defeated). DLPB has stated that Reunion R06 will be mostly fixed, so it's all still a waiting game in the end.

It's soo easy...?
I thought it would repair animations that uses the new modells. I never imagined that also 60 FPS was checkable... ;D
I did try it out yesterday and it seems to work as intended, but I'll find that out when I receive Tifa. ;)

Yeah dont worry I can tell you the wheels are 60fps and smooth :)

It won't work fully as intended until R06 releases its methods. Be patient until then :)

R06 wont be compatible with 7thheaven tho, DLPB said as much :( and this 60fps option on the animation mod works fine for me, I used it for an almost complete playthru with 102 hours on it.  So it might not be perfect, but I think it is "good enough".

In addition is perfectly fine. If R06 and NT can be made compatible, it'd be great to have those as base installers, and 7H used towards texture/model/media changes that stay away from modding the .bin and flevel files.

I'm looking forward to R06 and what new capabilities it'll offer.

R06 won't be compatible with any of the previous Reunion versions though... so users will need to know to disable that in 7h if using r06.

At that point, I’ll remove it and rely of R06 to provide the features. Catalog 3.0 has barely any features from R05 beacause the reverse engineering of it all isn’t worth the effort for something still being developed and changed; not to mention the years of work without pay and free time spent.
