So, let me get this straight: I should rewrite your code and then compile it in Windows and do that every time you release a new version? Or is there a way to compile your code, as is, and then run it in Windows? Then, where does this Cygwin come into play?

By the way, I have question that might look dumb, so forgive me if I'm such an idiot, but why did you ever create a native Linux tool for a Windows game in the first place?

Thanks in advance.

AT LAST! It's here!  :-o :) Let's download and try it out...

Hi, Aali. Thanks for the new tool. I can't wait to compile and try it out. (Or at least I can't wait to find out what it is, how to compile it and how to try it out.) I'd highly appreciate if you give some insight as to the programming language with which the tool is written with or how to compile it. I'm looking at it and it is certainly neither of the programming languages that I know. (Yes, it looks like a bred of C but it is neither C# nor C++ Builder.)

I know what you mean and yes, MIDI files are meant to be alot sharper since they dont have 'depth' :D
I sincerly think there is a "yes" in the middle of your message which completely changes the meaning of it.

but i guess the main issue is that you didnt calibrate your speakers :P
I'm afraid I don't think so.

"Now, I'm not into musics with a lot of Bass and lots of booms and bangs" This is exaclty what OWA is suppose to sound like (referring to Orchestral versions) :D
Yes, and I'm not into this kind of music due to their headsplitting quality, yet I still precieved MP3s as dull. Is that something wrong with that?

Is that for photoshop? Or for the exporter it's self?
Of course, the mask is only in Photoshop.

Also, when layering everything, on top of the annoying green there, Everything looks like it's tiled on. Anyway i can make it just smooth?
A fully-opaque mask should help you fix this issue during image processing since as early as when you import the originals into Photoshop.

I thought the editor would fix that too, But alright. Any idea how one could get rid of the screen when exporting an image?
Use a mask (or selection) during image processing.

Thanks for the new MediaFire mirror, NFITC1. At last, the fabled Proud Clod... I'm about to give it a whirl

Oh, and please do not forget to mirror Wall Market too.

^ Again? He has left once before? If yes, then how come he returned?

62
Er... Who else is leaving?

Excellent work! That looks nice!

Although, I have two minor objections. First, the wing which I liked earlier now looks not very appealing. Second, Cloud looks almost as tall as Barret while official sources state that Barret is 24 cm (9.4 inches) taller than Cloud.

But other than that, its excellent.

I'm afraid I don't think so, kula_wende. As long as you let other people's comments affect you so severely, the only safe place for your mod will be your head because when you put your mod on a website, people are bound to visit it and not all of them will be those which you like.

As long as you don't know how to treat people whom you don't like, especially slanderous ones, your bitter experiences will not end.

^ Well, chances are that he can't. 48 hours after the site is up, it will appear in a proper Google search.

Although I'm curious as to who sent him PMs and what exactly were the PMs. I still think they might have sent him nothing offensive and he has misunderstood them. You see, under this very same thread, I once appreciated his work but he took it for an insult.

Kula_wende, you may have misunderstood them again.

While I do support your decision of independence and building of your own website as well as your unquestionable right to determining the fate of your own mod, I implore you, please, assume good faith in other people.

I'll look into getting another mirror. I've still got that mediafire account. Would that work?
Oh, thanks a bunch, NFITC1. Yes, Mediafire is just fine. Mediafire and Skydrive are my favorite. (I hope my ISP don't dive headlong into legal issues with any other service provider.)
guys if you need mirrors to provide download links message me, I can provide ftp access to webspace, and users wont need to fill in captcha forms etc. direct download links will work.
Thanks for your offer. At the moment, any mirror is just fine.

Not sure about the Advent Children "outfits" being in the original game, everyone seems to be raving about it, but it doesn't make sense.

I completely agree. The AC outfits also reflect a change in the personalities of some of the characters (such as Cloud) that happened after FF7 finished.

His clothes in particular doesn't fit well with the flashback in the Shinra Mansion basement where we get to see how he got his SOLDIER uniform.
I think you guys are right. Advent Children characters have different outfit and different personalities. In AC, they are mature but in the game they are pretty much still naive kids.

^ Well, I'm afraid a reupload wouldn't do for me. My ISP and Filefront seem to have a legal problem with their incompatible terms of services. :( Although it is just a rumor, but the fact remains that there is a service outage.

71
Oh yes. :) It is fun! And you're Avatar is cuuuuuuuuuuttte too. So is Kula_wende's avatar!

Oh, by the way Cloud looks like such a bad ass!!! So mature! So heroic! Whoa! That Ifrit is great! And wow! That Bahamuth looks D.A.N.G.E.R.O.U.S; :-o it is a MASTERPIECE!!! :-o Oh, I forgot to say that Yuffie is so cuuuuuuuuuuuuttte!

72
 Thanks for advice. I'll consider it.

So, here I go: Wow! Yuffie is cuuuuuuuuuuttte!!! You're a good designer. :-D

73
^ Hmmm.... I see! I believe you are somehow right, but I don't exactly see how. I intend to have positive effect here but somehow I'm not having any. Meanwhile, I've been to a lot of other forums but this place is different. Maybe it is age difference or maybe it is the number of time you guys have played Final Fantasy VII.

But there is one important question: Approximately how much should I chill out?

74
Yes, exactly.

75
but shes cute in that out fit  :-D :-D :-D
While I appreciate your work as that of good designer, it would be unjust to either appreciate or pretend to be appreciating it as that of an excellent designer or beyond. I guess your Yuffie is, per Hollywood standards, indeed "cute". Although, unfortunately this cuteness of her neither promotes you beyond the status of a mere "model" designer nor promotes her beyond the status of a mere "model", no matter how cute she turns out to be. I'm afraid your Yuffie would remain just as Final Fantasy VII-worthy as a modeling women would prove suitable for a battlefield.

Now, I do understand that you people in this forum seek 9 parts out of 10 appreciation and one part out of 10 criticism. But if you seek to be appreciated as you deserve, either do not forget the context based upon which you design your characters, or otherwise consider being the creator of your own world and your own context.
