Well, this has been known for a while, and I'm sure some of you have known about this.  It's about MS IE hidden (very hidden) files.  Read:

http://www.fuckmicrosoft.com/content/ms-hidden-files.shtml

Like it says, you have to see to believe.  I couldn't believe how much shit was hidden in those files.  Fuck, and I thought I was downloading too much porn and running out of space.  The files that I was able to delete amounted to almost a whoping 1 GB.  There are more hidden files, and these are the files known primarily in 5.0 but not limited to the other versions.  This makes me wonder, should I get another browser like Opera or NetScape?  Duh!!!!!

Why the hell do they do that?

Edit:  On a side note.  One thing I have also noted about the Microsoft Hotmail, is that it seems that it's letting the mailboxes be flooded with SPAM.  Also, I saw 2 pop up windows come out as soon as I logged in.  Yahoo uses Anti-Spam software, Microsoft is the one with the big bucks.  Is this a move to have all free users be driven out because they want to keep only the people who pay?  I can only see in the near future, that Microsoft will kick out all free users by force if they don't want to pay.

Well, it's the cache. Apparently IE doesn't always totally clear it, but I've never had that problem ... nor does my internet cache take up more space than I've allocated to it in IE options, so I can't say I'm either surprised -OR- concerned about this.

I use Hotmail with Microsoft's Junk Mail filter and I get hardly any Spam - one every three or four days isn't bad.  And I use Outlook Express to check it, so no pop-ups...

Yeah I'm one of the evil none paying hotmail users.  Oddly enough, I haven't gotten any spam at all. (Other than their offers to upgrade to the "premium service" or whatever they call it.)
