Title: Final Fantasy VII Music Patch 110 & Cetra 020

Does anyone else's version of Cetra crash with a Runtime Error 217 at 0001A780?
It didn't happen when Cetra was in a different directory to FF7. When I have it in the other directory, the FF Music patch throws up the same error.
Check that, the ffmusic.dll seems to be causing it, when it is in the same dir as either the ff7 executable or the cetra exe

Yea, mine does. It's weird! I've tried various locations for the Cetra with tha same result: runtime error 217 @ 0001A780!! I emailed Ficedula 'bout the problem. I'll promise to tell ya if I get some answers. If you happen to get any advice before I do, if you could be so kind and let me know too, please? Thx.

I get different problems running these programs. (I want to point out that I'm still searching the forum to see if anyone else has had these problems. But I'd still like a response.)

First of all the MIDI music doesn't go away. No matter what I do in the program, I hear the MIDI music and the MP3 music. The only way I can get rid of it, is to set it to use my MIDI output device and not a MIDI player. THEN it goes away.

2nd: The MP3s do NOT loop, even with the looping option turned on. I'm half convinced that it either doesn't see the "end" of the music, or one of the other options is not letting it see the end of the music, thus letting it repeat...

As for when Fice is gonna work on them again, it's hard to say. We in the remake forum haven't heard of much progress with his game engine recently... bUt expect that both are being delayed because of school work.

Heh, University work, please, nothing like that easy stuff you get in school ;)

And yes, I have far, far too much work at the moment. I've been working pretty much every night for the past two weeks, except the ones when I have regular socials. Don't expect to see much progress on any of my programs this term...on the plus point, there *are* only three weeks left this term until the Easter break ;)

Yea, school can be reah bi**h... We just started our week-lasting winter-sports break in our secondary high school / sixth form. NICE...   :lol:
