Well, I've asked for one before and never got one, so I'm assuming most of you don't know about this:

Works wonderfully with FF7 :P

Isn't it only a trial version though? I mean, isn't there an full upgrade for the FF7 version, so you don't have a time limit?

I don't think there's a full upgrade to the FF7 version.  I think they called it S-YXG70 (?) and it was only released with FF7, not as a standalone product, so I doubt they'll upgrade it :-(

Look at it this way, folks:

Paying to register it should still be cheaper than what I payed for my XG hardware solution.

Goku7: Did you say you had the Fortissimo? That was not much less than the Live! when it came out, IIRC.

What I would really like is a SoundFont of some the XG100. I dunno if I'll have the RAM to upload it.  -_-

Yes, but when I got it, it cost about $45 at the most.

Also, its the Fortissimo 1, not the new one.

Seems to cost $50 dollars to register, and you paid $45 for your card?  Is there some place I could register cheaper than $50?  I don't really want to pay that much for this soft synth, but I'm about to...  MIDI quality is so much higher than the MIDI on this SBLive!.

WTF......?!

Last time I saw the registration offer, it said something like $30.  Dang inflation.

Sorry about the double post, but....

Suggestion to Moderators:Now that I think about it, this thread would probably be another good one to put in the FAQ section of the forums, since it provides an answer to another common problem with XP.

It's just a suggetion, though.  I'm not trying to boss or order you guys around, its just an idea I had that I think might be a good one. :D
