FFVIII steam edition 3d models

How to get the models/textures off the Steam edition? should I turn to 3d ripper DX, or its successor software, or an unpacker is available?

I don't remember Edea ever having a mask. What part of the game can you see it in?

That field is in data/eng/field/mapdata/ti/tistud21 and the model is d040

I don't work with the model side of things, but I hope that helps.

now, how to see the extracted model?

as a workaround, I am trying to use Ninja Ripper, but it only supports one exe at a time. Garden refuses to work on Windows 7 x64. any mode ideas?
