Uuu... You hurt :( ?
The title screen looks ok I guess. Seems a bit blurry to me  :-o though.
Uhh.. don't mind me. Lock the thread please

No, I'm not hurt. Read what others were saying above and notice the dispute I'm just playing into.  :-o

Thanks to all who replied. I've seen some of DLPB's posts across threads. I'm not concerned. Heh.

Glad you all like the background. I think it fits great. Sephiroth and Cloud seem to be in Final Fantasy VII I think, I just can't remember where, but included them in the picture anyways. Thought it'd look cool.

In any case, it's unnerving regardless to see people bicker. Seems I see it on every forum I go to instead of reading people actually sticking to topic. I think the forum itself knows this by automatically assigning the title of "no life". Haha. Strange.

Much love. If any moderators see this, please lock the thread. Thank you! :)

Very beautiful! I wish that box was functional too though :)

Its just a backdrop for the text already there. The shadows SHOULD align with the PC Version menu options. :)

Graphical / Final Fantasy VII | Custom Title Screen Image

Hello,

After successfully modding my copy of Final Fantasy VII for PC, I decided to make a custom background for the title screen.

Here it is, for all to also have if they wish.

Let me know what you think! Enjoy. :)

Solved Problems / Re: Installation of Mods (Errors)

The 2012 version totally does.

The problem is that Aali's driver (and the vast majority of mods) does not work with the 2012 version. You can use this tool to convert your copy to the 1998 version and use all mods with it, or let Bootleg do it for you.

Thank you. I went through with Bootleg and have gotten some character model textures to be applied, but that's all I notice. No custom soundtrack, no custom intro screens, options to skip cutscenes, hardmode, etc... I have installed the mods as required before running bootleg.

Thanks for the responses!

ALSO - what shortcut are you supposed to use to boot the game? So far, only the default Final Fantasy VII launcher works. The others (of the 3) ask for discs.

Okay ... so.

I went through with the installation and customization options, but I can't seem to get the modded version of the game to boot fully. I got the updated hero model textures, and that's about it. What have I done wrong? Is this a common problem.

There's no section that tells you what to do AFTER installation with the Bootleg Configuration Tool.

Thanks for the help!

Also, I'm getting errors from other mod installers saying Final Fantasy VII isn't installed...

Hello, all. Newbie Cory here.

So I'm trying to apply some enhanced graphics, remastered audio tracks, and the HARD mods to Final Fantasy VII for PC.

I got thrown the error "Unable to locate registry key. Please reinstall FF7" or something along those line. After extracting the latest version of Aali's Custom Graphics driver (which I got from the post HERE ) to Program Files (x86)/Square Enix/Final Fantasy VII, and trying to launch the Config.exe, I got this error.

I reinstalled Final Fantasy VII. This didn't help. I have a legitimate, purchased copy of FF7 for PC, validated serial key, and am logged in with my Square Enix account.

Maybe I'm just a newb... Help is appreciated!

ALSO, as a suggestion, there should be STICKY(s) of the most popular, stable mods for each section, I think! :D

Thanks in advance,
~Cory
