Just one more question on emulating FFIX...
« on: 2001-05-07 06:10:00 »
Thanks for the tip to run with limited framerates... IM SO HAPPY!
One more thing, tho, the sound still sounds like shit in the movies.  The sounds are happening before and after they should, and you can hardly hear the movies through the popping.  However, in the gameplay the sound is fine, except for major slowdowns in between sets and battles.  Any ideas on how to fix?

look at which sound plug ins u r using, also DISABLE frameskip (FS in the on screen menu) during movies. i recommend nulls2spu (read the FAQ for the best settings at http://www.psxemu.com)" TARGET=_blank>www.psxemu.com)  or the internal SPU plugin.
also try enabling SPU DMA/IRQ (whatever it is last option under the combo box) in the sound option box.

also WE NEED TO KNOW YOUR FULL CONFIGURATION.
pc specs, epsxe plug ins, there settings also.
i could help but i need those infos, i cant keep guessing what your problem IS
