I know. How about something that doesn't directly involve 'Final Fantasy VII' in the title. You know, it doesn't need it. You could just mention that the game is a prequel. But before that, I would suggest that you finish the game, or at least the story, and THEN announce a title. It just seems more sensible that way. That way, you can make an intriguing, deceptive title that would instantly spark understanding in the mind of someone who has played it. Just don't make a title that could accurately sum up the WHOLE storyline, there are too many of those. You guys are smart, you can do better than "FFVII: The Prequel". Remember, the most important element in story writing is mystery. If you want an attentive audience, 'forget' to tell them something important. Then spring it on them at the last crucial minute. The game will turn out bad if you just have a charachter walking around spouting references to the original game. For example, you could show us some kind of object, or part of an object in the beginning, and make it so that we couldn't possibly understand it until the end. Make that realization change the whole situation or something. But that is basic stuff, you guys can make it more complex, as I know you will. And plus, try to make it DIFFERENT. Y'know, when it all comes down to it, most of the final fantasys are pretty darn similar. Do something we HAVEN'T seen. Think about the awesome power you have. Think of the game as and unmolded block of clay. You can do whatever you like to it. You don't have to make it look like someone else's work of art. Sadness and tragedy always help in games, too. Lets not forget FFVII. Oh, wait, we obviously HAVEN'T forgotten it. Silly me. Oh, and finally, one more thing I thought of. Remember The War? The one Aeris's stepfather never came back from? Tie that in. That opens up WHOLE NEW plot opportunities. Good luck!
