Well, if you aren't interested in the remaster that's coming out in a few short days here, the only mod I fully endorse for the old steam version as a must have is Roses and Wine, in order to use the original PS1 soundtrack.

I've recently discovered photopea and been using it mostly for converting images from jpg to png because I read somewhere png is better and it's been great never had a problem with this website. So I wonder if I convert an image with photopea to png do i lose quality? And why the file once converted is always in a bigger size?

Colourfullness and Vibrance shaders will help with colour but before touching them try to achieve your desired result with the Tonemap shader. HDR shader will enhance whites and blacks. MXAO is good when it works but it's subtle and resource heavy. Ambient Light can be very effective but requires a lot of tweaking on a case by case basis and is very resource heavy.

All depth of field effects except SimpleDOF are resource heavy and tricky to configure. There's a bunch of other filters and effects but many have limited use in live gaming, they're more appropriate for screenshots or just better served by other shaders. Then there's effects like Lumasharpen and Chromatic Aberration which can look great or awful depending on game and configuration.

I can finally get rid of the awful combat music? Heck yeah.

The other music is great but the fact that it's like ONE very repetitive combat song just messes me up.

nything for the Steam version in existence or in the works that's notable? Anyone have anything they personally use?

Just curious if anything has surfaced since it's Steam release.
