And here's the clean 1.02 exe it's embedded with:

I understand some of the patches that look for specific file sizes may or may not work.
If this is an issue patch your exe, download the icon, then use IconChanger, rather simple to use and well made program.

I am using Windows 7 and I have multiple backgrounds scattered throughout these desktop shots so I apologize for the lack of consistency. :-D
If it's an issue I can retake them on a gray desktop background.

I did something like this. Personally, I like mine better, since I did it in high res so it's scalable in Vista, but I can't share it since I used some resources that weren't mine without permission.

Uh oh.
I didn't contact Satoh about this, he just posted it for me in a thread and he seemed like he didn't care much.

obesebear:
NICE!
Covarr, let's at least see a pic plz :-)

Here's the PNG version:

I got the high-res logo without text from here:
http://insertcredit.net/ff7/logo.htm

All I did was rotate it, resize, and add the text and a white border around the comet. I don't remember if the ICO version has manually scaled images for 16x16, 32x32, etc. It might just be the 256x256 that scales nicely in Vista.
