General Discussion / Sprites + Flickering

I have 2 issues:


1 - I have 7th Heaven (newest version, newly installed), but I am wondering how do you get the newer sprites for the characters on the world map and cities? I saw some videos where Cloud (for example) was not polygonal (like the original), but in HD.

2 - For some reason, the game is randomly creating artefact (including when showing the intro questions for the mods) and flickers in battles. I have modified some of the settings to no avail. The only mods I have are official Tsunamods. I'm not sure if it's a bug that is known, or if it's something with my PC build.



My PC specs (which might matter) are as following:
Ryzen 2700x
MSI Radeon RX 580 (Armor X)
32GB of ram


Running game from the Steam version, using the 7th Heaven launcher
(Also, the base game from Steam itself works correctly, but not the 7th Heaven launcher for some reason, even without mods turned on)

Late to the party, but you're telling me I can use my original CDs from the PS1 instead of the Steam version??? Sweeeeet. Ima try that then once I get the chance

I haven't tried your mod yet, since I literally just bought the game from Steam (using my PS3 for my PS 1 discs and finding a monitor was too much of a hassle lol). I looked at some vids, and man, they look awesome in terms of what your team did. When I saw people talk about "Reunion", I was wondering was everyone was talking about until I went on their site. I have no clue what they did. So will definitely use yours, and in terms of remastering the game the way your team did, THAT is was I wanted since forever. Then again, I haven't tried yet, but I can't wait. Probably this weekend or next week.
