It can't possibly take place after the game. The Makou gun is still attached to that port town!

Sam's FF8 DLS is pretty good across the board, not just for FF8.

Acoustic Edge hasn't gotten new drivers in awhile, it STILL works great, though.

QMSS is really the reason to buy it...the lower-budget models have had update after update, though. You may want to wait for Philips' next high-end card...

ME is about 10 time more stable than 98 ever was on my system.
You just have to tweak it, is all.

It runs perfectly for me, thank you. I'm not going to reload Windows, either...what a pain.

Anyone out there have thier DMusic reg keys I could look at?

^^; Philips Acoustic Edge.

Look, I'm not getting MIDI out of any softsynths either. There's some funky reg key I'm missing for GM.DLS...

The "Masamune" looking sword, I believe, is the "Murasame".

Well, that's WinXP.

This is WinME, and I'm not getting any MIDI except out of WinAmp, and that's when I have it load a DLS...
I HAVE HOMEBREW RPGS I WANNA PLAY!!!

Oh yeah, has anyone else tried replacing GM.DLS with Samuel's FF8 one?

Yet More!!

DLS Sound Set
This registry key identifies the location of the downloadable sound (DLS) set.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DirectMusic]

Explorer doesn't crash with IE if you set Windows to launch it as a seperate process.

Because you suck, and your mom likes using IE with me. XD

Bah, I love that sound!

FF does have a very loose timeline, but never on the same planet, and here's why:

FF5 takes you across three different Worlds...maybe more, never played it. The first two get blown to hell, I think.

I would go into my whole FF-series loose connection theory, but I'm too tired for it right now. It's a couple pages long.
