Almost half less files in LGP file after extracting?!

Hey guys, I'm new here  :roll:
Well, I've got a problem. No matter which .lgp file I will try to extract, I'm getting a lot lesser files extracted that there should be. I mean that for example Highwind 1.21 is saying that there are 5.5k of files to be extracted, but after extracting there are only about 3K. What the hell :o
Also the folder size with extraced files is smaller than .lgp file.
So my question to you guys, why is that happening and how can I fix it. It's my first day modding FFVII and this thing is really bugging me.

Where did you find information telling you to use Highwind?

Well, so by asking that you mean Highwind is broken and it's causing that problem? Well, in that case what other tool can you recommend for me?

Use Aali's lgp.exe. There's a tutorial written for this too. :)
