Final Fantasy Speedrun Relay & SRL Mystery Tournament


#1: Final Fantasy Speedrun Relay
Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI are games meant to take 20-30 hours each to beat. Working together, a group of 12 speedrunners from all around the world are going to beat all three games in under 15 hours, not once but FOUR times! Pick a team to root for and watch these games crumble with their insane tricks and strategies!

You've seen speedrunners crush childhood classics before, but how good are they at games they don't know? I've seen FFIV completed in just under 2.5 hours, but I didn't know the other 16-bit ones had tricks like that.

You need to work on your definition of 'major'
AGDQ, SGDQ and ESA are major events
this is just an event

this is just an event

SRL hosts *GDQ. This is a major event in terms of FF speedrunning and not just some YouTube team doing a let's play.

You can't add context after the fact to make it seem right. In terms of FF speedrunning, sure, it's major. In general, no, and that is what the thread said. (Technically SDA hosts GDQ, SRL is the livestream part of SDA)

Yes you can. It happens all the time in advertizing. It's still a major speedrunning event despite what frame of reference it's in.

(Technically SDA hosts GDQ, SRL is the livestream part of SDA)
Ah yes. I got confused on what those acronyms meant. Thanks for the correction.
