Every time I open 7th Heaven it minimizes itself immediately. I click it from the taskbar to maximize it and then I am greeted with a window saying "New Version Available!" and the option to update from 2.9.9.88
I click "Yes" and the download starts.
Not long afterwards another window appears stating "Success" and "Successfully downloaded version 3.1.0.0. We will now start the update process. 7th Heaven will restart automatically when the update is completed. Enjoy!" I click the "OK" and a DOS window appears.
It says "Waiting for 7th Heaven to be closed, please wait.."
Then "Waiting for 5 seconds, press CTRL+C to quit" The 5 counts down to 0... then nothing happens. I've tried leaving this hanging for hours and nothing changes. So I try pressing CTRL+C and the window then says "Terminate batch job (Y/N)? I press "Y" and the window closes.
I click 7th Heaven and the cycle repeats.
What am I doing wrong?
