I just bought the package myself, installed and had the exact same results. Had to copy the msvcp and r files from my windows folder to the parent folder, now I get the 0xc error and am stuck. Any updates?

I recently figured out how to make my AI-upscaled FMVs (1440p) work perfectly in-game and uploaded it here:

They are made from the best quality audio (PS1) and best quality video (2000 PC), since the 2013/Remaster FMVs audio and video are really bad.
They're also still locked to 15 FPS. However, on the YouTube video provided (which is why I originally upscaled them), you have them in 60 FPS.
This is not possible in-game because it skips all new frames, so increasing framerate skips the video halfway (or after playing only 25% of the FMV if you increase it to 60 FPS)
